I thought Ramsay's death was surprisingly tame. You only see one of them bite his face, you don't even see much damage done to his body. Most of the carnage happens off-screen. I found Pycelle coughing up blood while the kids stabbed him more graphic and disturbing than that.

I don't care now, but I was a pedantic, know-it-all little shit as a kid and something on an episode directly contradicted a previous one, you bet I would've brought up the next day on the playground.

We're at a point where companies should be giving out lifetime licenses for licensed games on digital stores. It's not like having Castle of Illusion out there will pull sales away from other Disney games.

Oh, and 17 years ago the Sega Dreamcast launch in America. Here's to the first console to support online play out of the box and brought us gems like the first Soul Calibur, Tech Romancer, Marvel vs Capcom 1&2, Space Channel 5, and Shenmue.

This weekend I'm going to take advantage of the free weekend of Overwatch and give it a try. I've never tried a squad-based shooter before and I rarely play games online that aren't Mario kart or a Capcom fighter, so this should be quite an adventure. Any tips would be much appreciated. Hopefully there's a tutorial

I have that problem with both NSMB games on the DS. I found them incredibly boring. I actually sold NSMB2 back to Gamestop (something I NEVER do with Mario games). I still have the original NSMB but only because it was the first new 2D Mario game in 20 years so it actually felt exciting at the time.
If you haven't

Just to clarify, Target has put some Wii U games on clearance, including Hyrule Warriors ($17!), Xenoblade Chronicles X, and a few others. Brickseek.com can help with tracking down copies. Glad you were able to find a copy of Hyrule Warriors! Between the main game and the DLC you have dozens of hours of content.

This came up on NPR and they said they took their cues from Caitlyn. They said Cait referred to herself as "Bruce" when discussing herself pre-transition so they followed her lead on that.

Ah gotcha. Better than those creepy Enzyte commercials with smiling 50s couple

Wrapped up Axiom Verge over the long weekend. It got its hooks in me pretty deep once I got a few upgrades. Might try to get all the powerups and maybe even attempt hard mode. I might go back to Twilight Princess HD and do some bug catching before taking on the Sacred Realm dungeon. Just an FYI for other Wii U owners,

I visited my grandmother at the nursing home on Saturday with my dogs and we had a very pleasant visit. The dogs were excited to meet new people and walked up to every person they saw. My dad said it made her day.

I had trouble with some songs not being transferred even though they were checked in my music library and I set it to transfer all checked songs. Eventually I made a smart playlist called "checked songs" and that did the trick.

My understanding in college was you could be busted for your roommate's drugs even if you never had any.

??? Is that a reference to Cialis commercials?

Cialis. It works well. It only kicks in when you're actually aroused, so you don't have to worry about taking it and then getting a boner at inconvenient moments.

Oh, this weekend is double Fight Money in Street Fighter V, so I might pick that up for the first time in weeks and get my ass kicked work on getting money for Juri and Balrog. Or just save it up for Urien.

In terms of humor, I can't think of any game that could possibly measure up. For turn-based games I'd suggest PS Classics like Final Fantasy IV, V, VI and VII. Final Fantasy X HD is also a good choice. They don't have the timing based attacks of SoT though.

I bought Axiom Verge on PS4 earlier this week. I'm… not loving it. The music in the first area is grating and the color scheme is very monochromatic. And it just seems so… western that the hero gets a big ass gun at the beginning. The graphics are otherwise impressive, can't believe this was made by one guy. I'll dig

Someone's probably already said this but Roger smith's various personas on American Dad have some real winners.

I'm going to see my great-grandmother at the nursing home. First time I've been since they put her there about six weeks ago. Debating whether I should bring one or both of my dogs.
