This is my first time being logged in here for some time. You’re right: it truly is a joke. Just the same five talking points being sea-lioned on every article by the same 25 people.

My chevy had a recall for seatbelts potentially breaking in a crash due to metal fatigue from over use.  Ill take a chime defect over that any day.

Oh this must be bad. Oh wait it is a chime for not having your seatbelt on that in small scenarios does not come on. And it is an over the air sw update... way to make things sound like the sky is falling

“Tesla should probably just tell its customers that its cars are in perpetual beta.”

SotB is the gateway to the dirty south.

South of the Border. If you have traveled up and down the East Coast you will see the billboards and you will stop once and be disappointed.

You did not analyze if Tesla could profitably sell a $25,000 car. You analyzed if Tesla could sell their average car today for $25,000.

Why a $25,000 Tesla will never come: because people are climbing over each other to pay $50,000 instead.

Oh great, it has the FUCKING TERRIBLE UI and non-button buttons from the other ID cars. God Fucking Dammit VW.

Yes, the weight (or lack of) is surprising. My 2021 M3 SR+ had a shipping weight of 3616 lbs. with a 47%/53% F/R weight distribution. Definitely a drivers car. Heck, my wife’s 2012 Mercedes SLK 350 is a tad over 3400 lbs. And don’t forget the 4 pot fixed caliper front brakes. On the entry level Tesla. While I’m at it,

As much as I’m a detractor of Tesla, I will admit that a base model 3 is a more pleasant vehicle than a base 3 series, both for driver and passengers.

David recommending the Bronco over the Wrangler seems sus. He’s right though with the EV commuter paired with a fun SUV though.

CPO Porsche Macan for the SUV, Model 3 for the sedan.

Elizabeth wins this round. I’d probably go with the Model 3 for the sedan, though.

Dual pane window glass, class leading seat comfort, true panoramic roof panel, sports car acceleration at 0-60 in 4.8 for the long range model Y, crisp interior design and exclusivity in ownership.  I don’t think they are very plasticy or boring....and yes I’ve owned BMW, Audi and Lexus vehicles. My model Y is on

If Tesla’s not luxury, BMW isn’t either, at least in its volume products (not much in the way of features you don’t get in plebian products, and you have to spring for noticeably nicer materials). So who sells the most genuine luxury vehicles?

This happens with every vehicle. There was a VW GTI MK8 forum long before it came out.

2022 DoD budget: $715,000,000,000
1 year of this program: $20,400,000
2022 NRO budget: $??,000,000,000

Can someone please notify these “disrupters” that we’ve had “flying cars” since 1903… they are called airplanes. There is already a whole industry, regulatory oversight, licensing system, etc built around these airplanes

Rodriguez also said, “How he walked away from this and survived it. I mean, somebody was definitely watching out over him.”
