I say that at least once a month and lately more like every couple of weeks. I could blame the Takeout, but mostly I’m just lazy.

For me it’s a toss-up between that one and #2.  I have a thing about eyeballs and the apparent whited-out eyeballs gives me the willies.

One night I wanted Popeye’s and didn’t feel like leaving the house so I signed up for UberEats and my order was $20 more than it would be in the store.  We didn’t have Popeye’s that night and I don’t use Uber eats.

Would a little bit of horseradish help?

I kind of teared-up a little bit when I saw the ties.

Maybe because alcohol is a blood thinner?

It was edited to look like that was the sequence of events but ever since I learned that they have to wear the same clothes both days, I no longer trust the editing.  Still, it was funny.

I’m sure he’s a great guy but he’s VERY verbose and earnest on his Insta feed. The dude has no edges.

I look for these recaps every Monday, so thank you.

I had to think about your use of “PH” there for a minute because at first I thought you meant “PH” as in scale. I’m not very bright sometimes.

Excellent. This probably sounds trite, but it really is about the people as much as it is about the bakes.  And the people are nice and mutually supportive and in ways I’ve never seen in a competitive reality show.

Fair point.

I think because it wasn’t integral to the tart itself.  Rather, the crab salad acted like a garnish.

Exactly.

No, and that’s why I love this show so much.  I think I’ve said this before but I have watched a lot of cooking shows over the years but I can’t stand to watch people baking.  And yet, on this show, I love it.

I think that was bullshit - he knew those were purple carrots.

I don’t actually have a problem with them repeating challenges.  The world of baking, while vast, is finite, after all.  I’d rather see repeated challenges than a series of increasingly bizarre or needlessly difficult ones.

No! Not Henry!!

This adult generally uses her microwave for reheating most food. The only exceptions are things that have been fried or breaded or have some other crunchy component that a microwave will destroy.  Those things go into the toaster oven.

Cracker Barrel gives you several little bottles of syrup?  Are they plastic bottles? If so, yet another reason to not ever go there.
