I would hate working there.

What sort of work do you do?

My co-workers wear earbuds all the damn time.  It’s necessary sometimes to tune out everything else.

Wait, they don’t have soft tacos anymore? That’s all I’d ever get!

Sweet potatoes work, too.

I’ve never put cheese on a fried spam sandwich but I might have to try it.  My usually spam sandwich is squooshy white bread with mayo.

I haven’t had decent brown gravy since my mother died.

This is so weird. I’d never heard of chicken bog a week ago and this is the second time I’ve come across it.  Someone posted a recipe.  Was it you? I can’t find it in my notifications.

You can get vanilla now and they’ll even put chocolate syrup on it if you ask.

Cheeseburger po-boys* and beignets with cafe au lait.

If I lived in Baltimore, I wouldn’t go there and I’m pasty white. For one thing, that dress code is obnoxiously specific for no good reason and for another, Sinclair. Ew.

I work across the street from a Spaghetti Factory so we end up eating there every few weeks for one reason or anther. I believe that the quality of the food there has noticeably improved over the last several years. When we first moved here, the food was bland and nasty. Now it’s almost tasty.

I grew up in New Orleans but moved away ages ago. When I go back, I eat Popeye’s because it’s different. In New Orleans, the spicy chicken is actually spicy.

I’m gonna be honest: I love Carrabbas.  I wish that there was one in my city, but there isn’t. I only get to go there when I visit relatives in northern Virginia.  The food is good and they have great sangria.

Thank you. That bothered me so much I actually googled it to make sure that I was right. Chipotle is fast casual, not Olive Garden.

Is Olive Garden fast casual, though? I though fast casual places generally don’t have table service and such.

At least Highclere is still owned by the family, though they’re relegated to an apartment since they basically live in a museum.

Over six seasons of the show, that character grew a lot and was forced to change how she looked at things.  Also, I don’t think we’re supposed to take her comments about Gwen leaving literally.

Yes, it is, but I only buy it when it’s on sale.

I found Rao’s on sale at Target a couple of weeks ago so I picked some up. It was still over $7 but it is so so worth it.
