It means that a majority of Americans are not terrible people who voted for the racist grifter. Sadly, what it doesn’t mean is that he lost the election.

I am apparently oblivious to that if that’s what you were doing.  Was it fun for you?

A majority of Americans ARE better than that. He lost the popular vote.

Are you this insufferable in real life?

It’s more a when than a where thing. Cocktail meatballs were huge in the 70's.

Agreed. When I’m making cocktail sauce, I don’t use plain ketchup - just the chili sauce.

It’s amazing on little tiny meatballs, is what it is.

Pizza does not reheat well. It doesn’t, and I’ve had it up to here with lies saying otherwise. The crust is never as crispy, ever, and the cheese never again gets the texture it does when fresh, instead becoming some dreadful, oily matte block which now happens to be hot

Yeah, I guess that does count. I stand sit corrected.

There’s a Mexican place that gives you a cubic shitload of food when you order fajitas.  Those reheat fine, you just need new tortillas.

I disagree, especially if the pizza has a lot of cheese on it.  I find the sheet of solidified cheese unpleasant to eat.

Is Chinese food necessarily fast food, though?

The convection setting on my toaster oven works really well for reheating pizza.

I wonder if the timing of the fireworks was off - like they were supposed to go off at the end but someone set them off prematurely.

That advice was wrong.  Kenji Lopez-Alt has done a lot of testing and frequent flipping is the way to go.

The drivers aren’t employees, which is the problem.

I did some corn in the microwave last weekend because I didn’t want to turn the stove on and it was delightful.  I bought them already shucked so I wrapped them loosely in damp paper towels for a little steam action.  I did them for about 6 minutes for two ears.

I had to stop reading this because it was giving me vicarious heatstroke.

Fair enough.

But why not? It seems like you’re vastly limiting your restaurant experiences by only ordering what you’re certain you’ll eat. Do you dislike leftovers?
