The main thing I miss by not having kids is the comedy.

The giant must have been a white walker since he exploded. Or did he? I don’t really remember.

I do treat them like people. I’m very nice to waitstaff because I know that their job is terrible. The other day I tipped someone more than usual because someone else was an asshole to them. But that doesn’t mean that I want to chat with them more than is necessary for the basic greetings and exchanging of

While it’s annoying when they check in while I’m chewing, it’s MORE annoying when they don’t check in and there’s something wrong with the order and I have to wait 10 or 15 minutes to get the attention of my server.

Speaking for myself, I have no problem exchanging pleasantries but in most cases I don’t want to have a conversation with the server. Either I’m with other people that I came here to hang out with or I’m by myself and want to read my book.

No. Excess small talk will do nothing but piss me off, which would prime me to be even more angry when I have to sit there and look at plates covered in mouldering dead food that should have been picked up 10 minutes ago.

I was replying to the person who said that dragonglass isn’t exactly something that can be melted down in blacksmith forge. My point was that I didn’t get the impression that was what was happening. I thought Gendry was using his badass smithing skills to make weapons using dragonglass blades.

I bet there’s several things in that post you didn’t ever expect to type.

I just thought it was because he was a kickass blacksmith, but I don’t really remember exactly how he came to be there.

My impression of that, to the extent I thought about it at all, was that he was making weapons - knives, spears and whatnot - with dragonglass blades.

I didn’t hate that there was a happy ending; I hated the tone of the ending. Which probably doesn’t make any sense but for those people even a happy ending should have been darker than it was.

Does Kinja let us tag other users? Because we could try to conjure him.

I’m sorry your grocery store is terrible.

The ending was the only bad thing about it.  Everything up until that point was amazing and scary as fuck.

James Wan is making a ‘Salem’s Lot movie and I’m very happy about it.

We have one in Portland with a movie theater, a slightly upscale restaurant (relative to most truck stops) and a lounge, along with all of the regular truck stop amenities.

You might be on to something.

Guy Fieri does.

I don’t mean to be difficult but 10 minutes in a 375 degree oven is not going to cook that bacon to anything past limp and pale. I generally cook thin-cut bacon for about 20 minutes at 400-425, but I like it to basically shatter. But still, after 10 minutes, that bacon is not even edible yet.

I put it in almost everything.
