I believe that I saw the signs of Mad Dany in the show because the books primed me to look for them. If I hadn’t read the books, I might have missed everything.

They’re being smart. If they did a sequel with the same characters and the same time period there would be too many comparisons to the original and would be difficult to pull off. By doing prequels set thousands of years before the events in Game of Thrones, the new showrunners get to play around in the same fictional…

I agree with this completely. Tyrion has always been my favorite character because he’s the most interesting person to me. I was really worried that he was going to be executed because this was what? His third time as a prisoner?
