Apparently (based on something another commenter said) the plan depends on re-routing I5 traffic onto 405.  Imagine that. Just imagine the horror.

How much of that was housing that working class families can afford? I can’t support anything that doesn’t make it easier for modestly paid workers to live closer to their jobs.  

Seriously?  Re-route all the I5 traffic onto teeny tiny 405? Are there improvements planned for 405?

I commute on I5 through Portland every day.  I have the choice of sitting in traffic on the freeway or sitting in equally bad traffic on surface streets. Eliminating the freeway will do nothing but make surface street traffic a zillion times worse.  We have better than average public transportation here but it’s still…

The automated vehicles still need roads.
