Not really since it’s a product of respiration, not digestion.  It’s more like plant breath than plant farts. It certainly isn’t plant piss.  

It’s not hard, but it is tedious.  And messy. And frankly, makes me less interested in eating said meat.

I understand critiques around the adaptation but I don’t understand critiques of the acting and production values.  Both were outstanding. 

I was going to post this if no one else did.  

Honest to god, I’m a little teary just thinking about it so it’s a nope for me.  But then, I have a strict policy against watching movies and shows about animals.  I can watch people being brutally murdered all day but if someone is mean to an animal or a kid? I just lose it.

Now that’s a good teacher. I am in awe of that teacher.

Our HR person won’t let hourly people work remotely, not even when it’s most definitely in the best interests of both the company and the worker.  Not even temporarily.  It’s maddening. 

They’ve gotten worse, in fact.  Our most reliable printer is an ancient HP laser jet workhorse that is 15 years old if it’s a day.  The new printers they’re giving us are plastic pieces of crap. 

Jesus, that’s borderline creepy and exactly right! I spent the entire three day weekend reading them. I did almost nothing else. I bought the first on last Thursday and I’m in the middle of the seventh one.

In my old dentist’s office, they called the dentists by their first name. 

So I spent the weekend reading a series of books set in England. Due to the occupation of most of the characters, they ended up spending a lot of time in the hospital recovering from their misadventures. More than once there was mention of [a hospital visitor] was eating [the patient’s] grapes.” I thought it was

Christ, that’s horrifying.  And I say that a person who likes hot things.

This is making want to get into the Sims again and that would be just a terrible idea, what with my job and relationships and things. 

There are approximately 8 million variables so people just have to find the way that works best for them. 

I live in terror of keeping restaurant employees at work after the restaurant has closed. Most of the time, I won’t go to a place any later than an hour before they close.  This is from a past life working in retail where customers just would not leave the freaking store.

Have we learned nothing from SyFy?

Kenji Lopez-Alt did some testing and determined that putting the eggs into already boiling water actually produced the easiest peeling eggs of all of the methods.

When I was a little kid people called grated parm in the green can “dago cheese.”

It’s usually bigger around and shorter than a typical baguette. And the crust isn’t as crispy.
