Retail people will always judge us. It’s a shitty job and they have to amuse themselves some kind of way.

You’re not grey now.
I learned a lot about ethics and morals watching Donahue as an impressionable youngster. I’m pretty sure I’m a liberal, at least in part, from opinions I formed watching that show. And when I was watching it, it wasn’t really all that trashy. Nothing like Jerry Springer.
I’m actively frightened of mine and won’t use it. Not coincidentally, though, my oven is currently filthy.
Not even close.
That’s why I won’t do it.
I posted this elsewhere but two of my five first cousins discovered that their biological fathers were not the man who raised them. But since everyone is dead, they’ll never know if he knew or not.
I have two cousins who discovered that they have different fathers than the rest of their siblings. It’s probably for the best that their mother and my uncle are dead but they’ll never know if my uncle knew that they weren’t his biological children.
No. My really great mac and cheese involves steeping the milk with thyme and garlic and baking it in the oven with breadcrumbs. Your method produces okay mac and cheese that takes several more steps and twice as many pots. As I’ve said, I only make Kraft mac and cheese when that’s specifically what I want or am in a…
Yeah, I didn’t get a brotherly vibe at all.
Why? I like to hear about it. I feel vicariously virtuous without actually having to give up alcohol myself.
He’s misguided because he put his own soul ahead of those of his child and its mother. The right thing to do would be to baptize the child, leave the priesthood and raise the child he created. Instead two people burned to death and a child is orphaned.
He has always been unattractive. I never understood his appeal and no matter how much money he had, I wouldn’t have done him with someone else’s. He’s always been kind of gross and skeevy.
What color is the sky in your world?
Well, she didn’t really pee so it’s probably okay.
Good point - Jamie has particular reasons to hate Bonnet but I think that he would give her the same advice, and want to murder the rapist, no matter who he was.
The books are flawed in terms of plotting. The show is flawed in terms of character development and it’s handicapped by DG’s terrible plotting.
I’m sure this isn’t a consolation but all of this sucked hard in the book, too. In fact, it sucked even more. The show has actually fixed some of the problems but there’s a limit to what they could fix without making dramatic changes to the events in the book.
”The fact that Jamie killed his own rapist and also admits in this very letter that he would still like to kill Bonnet makes this assertion seem unfair and almost as if revenge isn’t a suitable option for her as a woman.”
Yes. The priest is definitely the misguided one in this situation.
