I was educated in the 70's in the south and we were taught that slavery was horrific and wrong. Full stop. I was an adult before I heard the term “the war of northern agression.” We have Nixon’s southern strategy of mobilizing (and normalizing) white racism to thank for where we are right now.

They don’t know about the American stones and there isn’t necessarily time to get her across the ocean to Scotland before she gives birth. Not to mention how hard it would be to be very pregnant on an 18th century ocean voyage. 

That’s not what I meant. There’s no reason that they can’t be discussed and compared. My point is that the show should be able to stand alone and if it can’t, then it did something wrong.

So now when I pay cash I make sure some of it is sticking out of the little folder thingy so they know that I paid.

I once left cash on the table (in the folder thingy) at a pretty nice steakhouse in Biloxi, MS and the waitress came tearing out of the restaurant to accuse me of skipping out on the check. It was weird and embarrassing even though I did nothing wrong.

Red Robin as well. It’s awesome because waiting to pay is my biggest restaurant pet peeve. It makes eating at Red Robin slightly less painful.

Several times Lizzie asked Brianna to tell her what happened and each time Brianna refused.  So, it’s not Lizzie’s fault that she had incorrect information.  It’s 80% Brianna’s fault.

That sounds unbelievably disgusting and I love fried chicken skin. I’m pretty sure I only eat fried chicken because of the fried chicken skin.

Like I said, I’m willing to sacrifice perfection to keep all my fingers attached. Those horizontal cuts in the direction of the hand holding the onion are bad news.
