Thanks.  As it turns out, I’m already following that site, though I’d forgotten about it.  I’ll definitely check it out.

What happened to get you banned?!  I thought you were a fixture there! And what is this Pop Culture place of which you speak?

I totally agree.

An ex-boss of mine, the Evil Troll, used to throw a holiday party every year at a fancy country club. He served a basic turkey dinner with stuffing and mashed potatoes. He mandated that there be no butter or cream added to anything. So people would take the butter that was put out for the bread and put it in their

How is there anything left but mush after 4 hours?

A gherkin is a pickle, I thought.

She isn’t Canadian but she lived there for a while.  She grew up in California.

Inspired by this article, I made english muffin pizzas last night and they were great because, as suggested, I toasted them before assembling the pizzas. All I added was a variety of shredded italian-type cheeses, Hormel pepps & Classico pizza sauce.  Easy & delicious and I only had to have a heat-producing appliance

Are wait staff required to be kind to people who they believe just nastily insulted them to their faces?  Because that’s what happened here.  Yes, absolutely someone should have gone in and tipped that server properly.

His cooking shows have improved markedly since the early days in the basement with Dirty P and the rest of the gang.  People who slag on him for only liking unhealthy food are not people who have seen his cooking shows because he cooks A LOT of whole grains and vegetables.

How is that even legal?

Google “misophonia.” It’s a thing. It’s a curse.

Yep.

Anne Rice is personally involved? Hmmm.... she’s a bit on the eccentric side. I used to love her (I grew up in NOLA and loved the way she wrote about it) but then she got super-religious and then she got super-not-religious and then I lost track and no idea what her deal is now.

I kept seeing/hearing Floki and it kept throwing me out of the moment.

Whenever I buy an experimental flavor and it’s terrible (I’m looking at you, green apple-ish oreos) I take the uneaten portion to work. My office has gremlins or perhaps some kind of vermin that disappears food left in the kitchen in record time. Although I think those Oreos hung around for a couple of days, which

Same with the cajun chips.  Too easy.  Now, give me some gumbo chips and we can talk.
