My experience with nuns was much the same as with lay teachers. Some of them were wonderful - smart, sympathetic, funny - and some of them were assholes. In about the same proportion, really.

Let’s not forget that they forced a young girl to have her very first kiss on camera despite her strong objections and her discomfort with it. So the news that they are dicks to other women wouldn’t exactly knock me down with a feather.

The Terror has a ridiculously good cast. Tobias Menzies, Jared Harris, that dude who played the wildling king in Game of Thrones and others who I’m sure I’m forgetting.

One of my pet peeves of storytelling is when the plot is dependent on some character not giving another character useful information, particular when it doesn’t make sense that that character wouldn’t tell the other one. A lot of times it just seems lazy to me.
