I agree. But I think I know what happened here. Tires.

I’m 47. Just thought I’d say that.
I want to be a collector of Merkurs and Edsels.
Jerry Lundegaard sold that pissed off couple an Oldsmobile for $19,500 in 1988, but I’ll be damned if I know which model it was. I don’t know of ANY Oldsmobile that sold for that much.
I love that this thing exists. Can you even imagine how many jaws would be on the floor if you took it to Moab? Unfortunately the seller has my jaw on the floor with the asking price for something that needs a ton of work. ND.
Assume you’re going to be buying this vehicle only, or almost only, to use it to plow. Let’s say — like me — that you’ve got a mile or two of dirt road between where you’re staying in winter and the nearest pavement, and you somehow need to get the snow off of that.
This plow like pretty much all newer plows id designed to attach and detach rapidly, so the only time it really needs to be on the truck is when you are using it. Honestly 6k for a wrangler that doesnt appear to be rotted out is a good deal even without the plow.
Those of us who live in snow regions should have our own thread about the least suitable vehicles we have ever seen plowing snow. I once saw a Honda Ridgeline with a full size plow, not just one of those mini plows they sell for homeowner use. I don’t know what the owner did to make that unibody light truck accept a…
This was an easy NP as presented.
Sure, you could buy something that will at worst keep up with this Viper while providing a far more civilized experience for $40,000. The Viper was not built for civilization. It was built to live on the knife’s edge between fun and a fiery death. Given the condition and low miles I suspect this beast will hold its…
Seeing this pisses me off... because GM totally fucked up with Saturn. When they came out they were such funky, cool little cars. I remember they had a sort of almost VW type adoration when they first came out. What a missed opportunity- to continue cultivating a buying demographic that tended to buy European cars…
So you guys always say someone else’s mods don’t add value. This one is priced around market correct if stock, has more power, doesn’t look butchered. The Mercedes chassis should handle the extra ponies ok. If gauges and everything work I will nice price it (even though I would prefer a nice, stock, 560SL or early car…
There is nothing specifically desirable about this car except its oddly nice condition. So do you pay a huge premium for that and then not drive it in the hope that at some point you can also sell this weird, non-desirable but great shape old car to someone else ten years from now? Or do you drive it regularly and…
This thing is probably loud AF. If this is your kind of thing, you probably would pay nearly $40k for it. It’s a little high, but so is the seller...reluctant NP
I’m going with “My wife wanted a minivan, so I bought her a tahoe. And I supercharged it to make her think it was fun, but it’s not because it’s a tahoe. And I put big wheels on it to make it even cooler, but it’s not because it’s a tahoe. And then she still wanted a minivan because having a tahoe with small children…
24 inch wheels with ultra low profile tires on a BOF truck? I’m guessing his wife switched cars because she got tired of peeing blood from all of the kidney bruises.
