I work at a Lexus dealership. My job is to work with customers in the service lane who want to sell or trade-in their aging Lexus. I’ve seen these, regularly, with over 300k miles and still running like new. We took one in on trade once with 350k miles, it was in good enough condition that we could put it on the used

You got that right.

I see those pads on the seats and think geriatric person, and hopefully the car was babied and well cared for.

This guy’s CyberTruck just came in so he can reclaim his title of “Uber Chad of the Farmlands”.

100% unique - it’s the only car that got that transmission in that setup. I believe at the time Getrag/Ford thought it would be adapted to the Mazda3/etc in the future, but things didn’t work out that way. The linkages are plastic and exposed somewhat, and get brittle with time (and then snap). It’s also, IIRC,

I’m nostalgic for this and am still managing to change my own diapers, but this price is nuts.

I had a G35C 6MT for a decade. It was a great car, traded it in with a little more than 150k miles on it and other than the first couple of years I had it, it was reliable and trouble free.

The weird part is, why is there a base model 2M4 trim cargo decklid on a GT?

I say modestly as the Brabus ForTwo maintains the standard model’s 70 horsepower turbo triple engine. It does have remapped shift points for the five-speed auto manual...

It all looks a little slapdash, honestly. The top has that Worst Tent at the Boy Scout Jamboree look, and the leather on the seats looks ill-fitting. I also have a very limited appetite for gold trim or accessories of any kind on a car, especially a red one. And the mechanicals don’t sound all that special. ND.

Sure.

Holy shit 3 of those pieces of shit. This guy must be a millionaire*

Does it include the cost of a billboard truck and driver to follow you everywhere, proclaiming ‘IT’S NOT A PROWLER!’?

I love these cars. But having owned a few Volvos from this era, this will be spending more time in the shop than on the road. ND for me since I don’t need anything quite that needy.

I’ve had a lot of 944s. This is Nice Price if the timing belt/water pump was done in the last couple of years, and if the clutch has been replaced some time in the last 30k miles. I’d also kind of expect working A/C for this price.

Those 6's are god damn bullet proof. My parents had a slightly older C320 that had pretty similar milage. They are very unkind to that car. The only thing that ever really bit them was a failing transmission that cost a few grand to have rebuilt by an indy mechanic. They still have the car but largely retired it.

That underside shot is what sold me. The price is high. But this looks like basically a new car and of all the older American cars, these WILL run reliably for 100's of 1000's of miles without a problem. As in- not unusual to see these things with over 500,000 on them. NP.

The photographs were captured three years ago. It’s likely that the rust has diminished and vanished since then.

extensive use of aluminum in the unibody chassis and suspension” this is why they total so easy.  Aluminum is very difficult to repair in comparison to steel.  Not every body shop can repair an aluminum unibody or do the body work and panels on these.  The paint is also super high end and requires a lot more work

I love the bones of this truck and the condition is great, but if this fell into my lap my first inclination would be to peel off the graphics, put stock lights back in the grill and replace the wheels and tires with some durable rims and modest AT tires. I feel like at $12k it’d be tempting, but for nearly $20? ND.
