That is the same way they did the trunk on the Dodge Magnum. It makes the door higher so it is easier to get things into and out of the trunk. I think the Miata wagon needs a full length cloth sunroof to keep the fun factor and this style trunk would definitely get in the way.

I'll second Jalop green. It is probably my favorite car color and it is painfully rare.

Obviously, you will need to add a full length cloth sunroof, and the former owner of this car was stoned to death and is burning in hell for adding those rear wheel covers.
