I think the problem is they have had to upgrade / up-engineer GM's products for the last 25 years. I think GM should have given Saab the funds to create products from the ground up then use those quality products across the GM product lines to reduce costs and increase GM's overall quality.

The 2010-2011 9-5 is the only good looking Saab since 1984 when they stopped making the 99.
