How ‘bout I just believe the ones with the concrete evidence stuff? Would that be ok?

Crazy how much people overthink how complicated this all is. It’s really easy to understand!

Well, yeah, most people are pretty crappy in some way or another; most people have major blind spots that they need to be called out on. Every person does at some point in their life. Sooner or later, we all do something that is 100% Not Okay, but that doesn’t mean we should lower our standards of acceptable behavior.

I assume it will be iTunes / Apple TV exclusive like Prime or Netflix. They’re both big name shows, but between this CBS exclusive Star Trek and whatever Disney is doing... Ugh too much. And those two others actually have previous content.

Stupid question but... how will this be available to stream/access? Like, only on iTunes or something? Is there like, an Apple or Amazon Prime for Apple? I’m really old, okay???

on the scale of bad things divided by time, “just raped a kid last year” is much worse than “assaulted a guy decades ago and did prison time for it” - and i say that as someone who thinks mark walhberg is a piece of shit and usually a terrible actor.

I personally find it easier to be outraged about people who didn’t pay for their crimes, like Spacey, than about people who did time, like Wahlberg and Tyson. Not saying that Mark Wahlberg or Mike Tyson are “good guys”, but at least I can shrug and go “well, they served time”, you know?

“We don’t want any assholes around us,” she said, before laying out precisely how to avoid the classic Hollywood problem of a room full of assholes and potential sexual predators intent on maintaining their power via intimidation.

Invoking, thoughtful, and inspiring. Then the last sentence.

This guy!!!

Hey, I’m surprised Paul even went to the police over this. Isn’t he Mr. Libertarian, governments and laws need to stay out of my life? Looks like he finally realized that no rules and no laws means might = right. And since Mr. Paul got his ass kicked, that must mean he’s not the one in the right!

If they’re fighting over compost, they’d be better of leafing it alone.

You don’t need to be rich or in a gated community to get really psycho over stupid neighbor crap like that. People in my building had a neighbor across the street come out and yell at them for parking in front of his house. People are just crazy on all levels.

I had a neighbor whose noise annoyed me for YEARS. When I started daydream about setting his house on fire, I decided to move.

That assumes the five ribs were broken due to the violence of the attack as opposed to Paul being unlucky. I had a coworker out from a trip and fall with broken ribs. If you’re unlucky in how and where you fall, it doesn’t necessarily take that much to do real damage, especially once people are past 40.

Yeah, I am so intrigued by the comment about Paul believing in stronger property rights than exist in the US.

It isn’t a question of enforcement. It’s a question of the failure to create a mechanism to report much of this information, or of standards set so impossibly high they can’t be met. You can’t buy a gun if you are an “adjudicated mental defective -that means involuntary commitment or a criminal finding of guilty/not

I’m sure all the Fathers of Daughters are beginning to consider the possibility of a potential concern.

Not gonna work.
