This game was alright, I wouldn’t call it terrific. They are definitely on to something with this game, and a sequel could fix a lot of the problems I had.
I'm really excited that not only has Nintendo embraced DLC characters, but made it cheap and totally worth buying. I'm really behind this and I'm excited for the poll they're running currently.
Not to mention ZoE and MGS since Kojima is gone...
Valve seems to have been slowly and subtlety moving towards making money on practically everything on Steam. Things that used to be free are now being monetized. I guess this is what happens when your service has no competition and you don't make games anymore.
Especially since ESPN airs Poker, competitive eating, spelling bee tournaments, fishing, and many other non-sports. It annoys me that people are so resistant to it despite it being no different than the other non sports aired.
My bet is on Kojimas name being bigger than Konami itself, and when Kojima refused to make another MGS after 5, they had to sever ties. What a disappointment.
Considering they could have just not included him, but decided to because making a variation clone character takes far less time than making a new character, I’m fine with it.
I think it’s one of the times where the devs get so caught up in their own ideas and how they want people to play, they forget that people might not actually agree or want any of their ideas.
Yeah in my head I always called my current version of a Gameboy just simply “my Gameboy.” I never actually said “I’m going to play my Gameboy advance SP.” or whatever the full title was. So when I wrote it, I didn’t think that people would actually be confused. Nevertheless, he was going hard on that comment for no…
That door next to the chest was supposed to lead to the door right behind where you fight the Cleric Beast. It was removed before the game released. I don’t know why it gives you the option to still try and open it.
On this site actually. I told a story about when I was a kid I could never tell the color of the battery light on my Gameboy because I’m red/green color blind, and this guy latched onto the fact that I said Gameboy instead of GBA, which is when the colored lights were introduced and is what I actually meant. He tried…
Things being blown out of proportion on Twitter? Ya don’t say?
This seems like a much better evolution of GH than the previous iterations. The problem for them however is competing with Rock Band. RB is supposedly bringing back their entire library and you can possibly replay all your songs that you’ve purchased over the years from the previous games. Why would anyone invest in…
I'm going with a boxer build. Duel caestus power stance, just punching things to death like a boss.
After trying to fight the last boss of Bloodborne more than a few times (not the secret final boss) I got him to a sliver of health and I dodged his flurry of attacks and dashed backwards and machine gun tossed all my knives at him to finish him off. It was a clutch win after I used all my bullets and potions.
That would require Nintendo to be flexible and accepting of their communities. They’ve warmed up over the years but they’re still very much a “my way or the highway" type of company.
Ness and Ganondorf seem pretty broken on Project M when I played it. You can spam the shit out of PK Fire and his charge-B can pretty much go anywhere on the map. Ganondorf has super armor on his side-B which can be comboed into his down-B to pretty much be a guaranteed 30-40% attack.
I wish Nintendo would make a legit Pokemon brawler with added depth. Combos, special moves, super attacks, maneuverability, coop... It would be so awesome. They have yet to make a game that actually makes you feel like you're controlling a Pokemon.
Yeah we did all that and it worked 0% of the time. It's still a frustrating experience and my views on the insight system still stand.
