My unmanageably thick hair begs to differ. It’s the thin haired Kirsten Dunsts of the world who seem to look great in them to me.

I love that you named her beanie. Thanks for sharing. :)

What, you’re not amped for More More Stories of Yet More Stories of Stories of Stupid Customers Part MMCMLXXXI?

Probs. I bet she’s an entitled rich terror.

Thank you. That truly makes me feel better. Hollywood has made me feel like I have a defective head.

I mostly hate his stuff. I found the Coven season of AHS a fun shitshow romp, I like the early seasons of Nip/Tuck, and I can’t get into the rest of it. So this post is coming from someone who is also Murphy’d out.

Creepo-dad mouthing along words to horror films is just Ryan Murphy saying “LOOK. EVERYONE IS FUCKED UP AND A SUSPECT.”

Agreed. The parts of her wardrobe that aren’t weird hats are awesome. Her clothes have a bit of a Spencer Hastings vibe which I dig.

Welp. There’s our explanation.

Yeesss. They are more durable than any other brand I’ve bought too. The Absolute Opaque ones in black are a staple, and I love that they have seasonal colors. Sometimes I wish they had all the funky colors year round, but then I guess I wouldn’t get to stock up after the seasonal clearance.

Yep. I ran in junior high and high school and loved it. After college, I had a severe grade III sprain that resulted in surgery and years of PT off and on. I still get repeatedly sprains and pain that ebbs and flows. I can’t run based on my injuries, but if I magically could tomorrow? Fuck no. Knowing how delicate

Totally agree about Coven. That one was especially messy and full of plot holes. Again if you suspend your disbelief and just take it in as a wild, nonsensical romp, it’s enjoyable. But yeah...it’s a shitshow.

Yeah, he definitely has interesting ideas. I just think they’re executed rather sloppily. And I feel that way about the first season too.

I think this could be said of almost all of his projects. I don’t understand people who legitimately think AHS is good. Campy “how much more of a trainwreck can this become” fun a la True Blood? Sure. But skillful, well-written TV? Nah.

Yep this is all too common in customer service jobs, especially restaurant ones. I do not miss those days. I once had one dumbass customer ask me “why are you working while you’re sick?” Feeling like feverish death and fresh out of patience, I replied “Obviously you’ve never been poor” and handed her her bag.

Same. I read the odd article now and then but mostly don’t like the style of their stuff. But yeah, I’m been getting that vibe more and more from Jez and Gawker. I pretty much stick to reader run stuff these days.

I know this author from reading her stuff on Vice. I think that explains some of the out of place tone. Tbh though, I feel like all of the Jez factions have been kind of leaning towards being more Vice-like for a while now so I wouldn’t be surprised if it becomes the norm (see: the FlyGirl article of yore about

I don’t know. I’ve never seen Tinder in action. I’ll have to ask my mom since she uses it regularly lol!

He was super hot in Damages.

I met my partner of nearly 7 years through a semi-drunken rant I made on Rants and Raves (is that still a section? I haven’t used Craigslist in forever) on Craigslist. I don’t tell a lot of people irl though because they get really judgey about it even if they’re people who use online dating sites.
