Yeah, that’s the part that really makes it seem like someone other than Elisa was involved in her death...*shudder*

Now THAT was nightmare fuel for realz. I think psychotic episode as far as the reason for her behavior in the video. However, it still doesn’t explain how she ended up in the water tank. Supposed it was a locked area that only specific staff had keys to...
Nah, don’t feel old. Jez has done funny articles about how no one knows who Rita Ora is yet she continues to have a career. Reminds me of Sienna Miller. Been famous for a while, the name is familiar, but I just can’t pick her out of a lineup to save my life because she’s so forgettable.
YES. He’s definitely a sexist douche, and he rarely lets women speak on his show. I watched Real Time for a while back when I had free HBO because he does usually try to get a varied panel which can be interesting, but it’s hard to keep it interesting if he refuses to let said panel speak.
True. When something like the Kim Gordon/Thurston Moore breakup happens, it always makes me a little queasy thinking about how things can unravel that far along. :/
Okay.
Ugh, that Rolling Stone article...Dan and Patrick come off as the wooorrsstt. Dan especially seems like a dumbass frat boy.
Yeah, I couldn’t handle the drama of dating a touring musician. That said, despite some of the specifically musician related stuff in the article, it still has a general theme of “look how stuff falls apart between two people” for me that makes me think about how there isn’t a point you reach where you’re “safe”.
I know. :/ It’s a poignant piece for sure.
Agreed! She represents the bad shit that both of them did. It’s a really honest portrayal of how shit can gradually fall apart, imo. It’s well-written too.
Meh, on a scale of one to super weird coupley things that happen when you’ve been together a long time, having a shirt that you both wear sometimes is pretty low.
Yep, my thoughts exactly. It’s douche vs douche. Ever read Carney’s ex-wife’s piece about their relationship? It’s a good piece, especially if you’re a record nerd who has ever had a relationship benchmarked by albums.
Ryan Murphy ruins all his shows by the second season, see Glee, Nip/Tuck, AND American Horror Story.
Yay! I’m happy to spread the word. :)
I haven’t seen it, but I figured it would be terrible. :/
Yeah, I guess my mom and I were the only ones watching The Tomorrow People. *shrug*
Ever check out Mark Mulcahy’s band he had before Polaris, Miracle Legion? Gorgeous stuff. His solo stuff is good too. He’s one of those musicians who a lot of other musicians know about and love (Thom Yorke, Michael Stipe, Frank Black), but he never got much notoriety in a mainstream way minus Pete and Pete of course.
So glad people on here remember Roundhouse! It’s the one show people I know who watched 90s Nick never seem to remember for some reason. Oh, and The Tomorrow People (which they rebooted recently). Nobody ever knows what the hell I’m talking about when I start talking about Megabyte and Dr. Culex.
I loved this show, and when I would talk about it at school, kids would gasp and be like “my parents won’t let me watch that show ever!” It’s kind of amazing that it was allowed to be on Nick for any length of time. So not appropriate.
You’re welcome! Get your nostalgia on. ;) I have all the eps, and I still enjoy rewatching them a lot as an adult.
