Yeah, Nickelodeon has been TERRIBLE about releasing those 90s shows on DVD despite the huge popularity/nostalgia factor. Between Shout! Factor and Amazon burn on demand, I have most of them. Speaking of which, Amazon burn on demand released all the Are You Afraid of the Dark? seasons so you can buy ‘em if you want. :)

So, if they recognize the popularity these shows have with nostalgic 90s kids, why have they historically been so bad about releasing DVDs? They would always claim they wouldn’t sell which is so ridiculous. If it weren’t for Shout! Factory and Amazon burn on demand, I wouldn’t have the 90s Nick show library I have.

Yeah, these were my thoughts after reading this article too. I haven’t watched the video though so I can’t make a full judgment on it.

Ah, definitely give the rest of Peng! a spin! It’s definitely a solid record.

Yeah, they really don’t have any bad material. I have so many favs, but Super Falling Star, the opening track to Peng!, is one of the most beautiful songs that exists. At top volume in your headphones when you’re having a pensive, not-so-good day, and everything melts away. :)

If you don’t know Stereolab, oh man, please give the ma listen.

Just wanted to let you know that I have been trying to find an answer to this, I just haven’t gotten any results. I messaged my friend who works at a women’s clinic, but got no response (she’s very possibly the flakiest friend I’ve ever had, so no surprise there). Likewise, I posted on a GT open thread and didn’t get

Same here! I never thought that. I’m guessing it’s from the And I’ll do anything you say/If you say it with your hands part? But that still seems like somewhat of a jump.

Whoa, this never occurred to me, and now I feel a little stupid. It’s one of my fav T Swift songs. I kind of ignored her before that album, but ended up unexpectedly loving Red so much.

She’s reminding me of Lady Miss Kier in these outfits (especially the clear vinyl one), and I’m digging it. I’m sure someone will call blasphemy on me for making that comparison, but it’s the first thing that came to mind.

PIZZA PASTIES. You’re rad. :)

Thanks for the advice/recs! I have a similar one, Kat Von D’s Tattoo Liner, that I bought for a birthday splurge, and I did find it easier for someone like me who has zero makeup skills. I like that that Revlon one has a fatter tip though. That seems like it would be easier for me.

I need to learn how to eyeliner, but I can’t seem to do it no matter what. I’ve tried different types (liquid, pencil, etc.) to see if there’s a magic one for me, but I ssuucckk. I’ve gotten passable at doing the eye that matches my handedness, but I can’t do the other one to save my life so I just forego it since you

Ahhh he looks cute in glasses! <3

Planned Parenthood and other similar clinics are definitely a good idea. I used to work for my state’s equivalent of CPS, and there were people who would call in who were “advocates” and I’m wondering if there’s something similar for women who are facing issues with their reproductive rights? Of course, high level

Their emblem could be like the IUD with a snake wrapped around it like that doctor symbol.

I know. It sucks. I applaud Obama for the ACA, but it needs to be easier to reinforce/we need to have a more tangible recourse when things like this happen. I remember reading an article a while back (I think it was a Jez article actually) that the government was starting to sniff these incidents out and fining the

THIS. It makes no financial sense for them to be such asshats about covering BC, but yet here we are.

I had a grandfathered plan like bonjourbotox until very recently as well. It has since lost it’s grandfathered status but guess what? They STILL try to deny the IUD and the amount of groundwork it takes to get it straightened out is enough to make 90% of women just give up. They also will do things like cover the

So glad to hear that people are liking this! I wish Adrienne Shelly was around to see it happen. :(
