Not sure I would include the butter balls, they appear to have severe shelf-life issues resulting in almost universal one star reviews. Their scores seem to be propped up by a few 5 stars, including some dude who just eats them out of the package.

1. This shit should be considered a form of bait and switch. If you establish a product under a brand for a certain length of time, you shouldn’t be able to market a worse product under the same name and brand. The only reason it works is because you’re deceiving the consumer.

And that person conveniently forgot that the phenomenon also affects the INGREDIENTS you would use at HOME.  But I guess s/he needed a place to vent.

Judgy much? Nowhere did the article say people should eat entirely processed foods. And I don’t know about you, but a stand mixer and pasta rolling attachment (not to mention the wasted ingredients testing recipes) are a pretty expensive way to avoid buying a box of Ritz crackers for an office potluck.

Oh yay! Another tired ‘you just don’t understand the nature of business’ genius. The sad truth is that a whole lot of families can’t afford any other options or easily ‘spend more time and money on the healthy options’.

I would love to know why the large corperations think its ok for us to pay for the cost of prices going up. How about you give less bonuses to CEOs and take the hit. We should not be paying the bill.
