I was listening to an episode of Unpopular Opinions (podcast) the other day when the Pizza Discussion came up and the host basically agreed that almost all pizza is good pizza. I live near Chicago so I was like 30 before I ever had Domino’s (no reason to with 12 local joints) and even that was pretty good. We don’t do

That’s how I feel about green peppers. They INFECT.

take the hint and resign.”

I still remember their “Behind the Music” episode on VH1. Arson, sickle cell, and being robbed blind by their record company.

My step-mom did this a couple of times, when I was still living at home. Despite the fact that she will read every label for 15 min, she would still regularly come home with unsalted butter (she doesn’t bake), or the fat/sugar/dairy-free version of something when we usually get the regular version.

It isn’t just you, or AV Club, for what it’s worth.

If you’re fancy enough for a whole spice island, you’re fancy enough for a label maker!!

A rectangular metal tin? :)

I agree, I have been a Perrier devotee for years. I used to get it delivered from Amazon but it has been “out of stock” for months and is even hard to find in store (anyone know what that’s about?)

Yeah, I had the same reaction when “shower beer” was making the rounds. Am I the only person who just does my business and gets out?

If you like suntan lotion, you’ll love this.

I used to go all the time. But they a) stopped sending coupons in the mail with the weekly sale ads and b) changed both of the items I regularly got (they changed a lot of stuff). Plus they’re real hard of hearing when you say “no mayo.”

I have said “behind!” in the office (though not at kitchen volume) and people seemed to understand the intent. Maybe we’re all just watching Chopped, though.

The new lemon cookies are pretty good. I never deviate from my standard order but dammit, now I have a new cookie to buy.

Also, they provide to-go bags for your food now. I went last summer and didn’t know this so we all tried to get our money’s worth. The last time I had been was 20 yrs ago and they didn’t let you take leftovers home. So, no need to stuff yourself.

There was a lot of “just accept it” about the cars on The Walking Dead, too.

Yeah I like their Buffalo Chik patties.

Yeah, I only go when I have a coupon. Then you can get a footlong for $5.99.

Most of the English language is borrowed.

I always rip off the lid (top half) because that never has any food contamination and recycle that, and throw away the bottom. I heard about the “grease” issue a long time ago. I had to stop a coworker from “recycling” her paper plates and napkins >_>
