Seriously. The gloves were ugly. That doesn't diminish her character or intelligence. It just means she has bad taste in gloves.

I've been out on Valentines day and last night for NYE (and last year) to fancy restaurants. Same menu. Same prices. Occasionally for special nights they have a prix fixe menu with a few courses that ends up being LESS expensive than usual. The only difference is you have to make reservations much earlier.
