Even with a new alignment, I've never gotten over half of a mile without needing to re-adjust the steering wheel to stay in the lane. I even had competitions with my co-driver as we crossed parts of Indiana, Nebraska and into Colorado.

Power source is irrelevant. Teslas have no engine at all. Steam engines were once relatively common in cars. Several car companies have put out hydrogen fuel cell cars. Chysler even made a couple the Turbine Car.

But what about the Bloodhound doesn't your definition of car? The internal combustion engine is the only one, but if that is a requirement, I guess a Nissan Leaf isn't a car, nor are any Teslas.

Track days are one of the biggest sources of fun, and if you are taking a buddy, it's pretty much ruled out in this vehicle unless you are bringing another one.

It all depends on your loader. Yeah, going to be a bit difficult to get 2 yards in a 5.5ft. Shouldn't be much of an issue if the guy working the loader isn't incompetent on a 6.5ft bed.
