Gawker is bleeding over to Jalopnik.
Gawker is bleeding over to Jalopnik.
I know. My point is that none of them have been any more capable than any typical body on frame SUV/truck.
I was arguing about the majority of vehicles. Not just Jeeps or Wranglers in particular.
You are arguing something that has been argued on for years. When the carburetor was on the way out the door, people argued the added complexity made it harder to modify the vehicle for ______ (fill in the blank), or it would be harder to keep running after X amount of years. Same as when they added air bags, seat…
The WK2 ain't exactly easy/cheap to lift. Sure, you can get a 2" lift, but when compared to an XJ or Wrangler, it's darn expensive for minimal gains.
The Wrangler has been the only *real* capable Jeep since the XJ died. Sure, the WJ and WK are capable, but in stock form they aren't really much better than any other body on frame SUV/truck that are still around.
I was more going with the cult followings. If I compared In-N-Out to a place like... McDonalds or Wendy's, I'm pretty sure people would try to behead me.
Exactly. Don't get me wrong. I like In-N-Out, I like Whataburger, I like Five Guys. But I don't love them. To me, they aren't much better than any other fast food burger. Every time someone goes on about how good these burger joints are, I don't get it.
How about both are just overrated. Seriously, it's like Five Guys. Yes, they are good. But they aren't nearly as amazing as people make them out to be. I'm a burger lover. It's what I make every year on my damn birthday. I eat them for breakfast. I love burgers. But the fact is, In-N-Out, Whataburger (and Five…
No hatch/wagon, no care.
Wow... slampiece. All I've got left is Jumpoff. That doesn't hold a candlestick to slampiece.
Ooo, ooo. I heard this one on Gawker... "Sidechick".
Paramore?
This was a fun little car. Not for everyone, but certainly has its fans.
If we took the advice of some Jalopnik readers here, this most likely happened because he didn't tip the valet $50.
My son was offered ~$28.5k for a loaded Pro4-X Crew Cab with his recent college grad thing (no negotiating should you choose to take the college grad offer). I was able to get ~$28.6k negotiating for an Xterra Pro-4X and ~$29k for a Frontier Pro-4X (went with the Xterra). This is all from the North East area though.
I was surprised that Ram had a lower percent of MSRP than the other two of the Big Three.
I am disappoint about that. If I were to end up in the back of a cop car, I'd want it to be some weird, quasi-ugly, futuristic, part-awesome cop car like that..
Apparently I haven't been following Lotus. Why was this Dany Bahar fellow so shitty?
