I mean, he started dating her mum when she was ten, so I’m not going to argue their familial relationship. She was an incredibly vulnerable and traumatised child. She herself puts his grooming as starting when she was still in high school, and he describes his relationship with his own wife as ‘paternal’. Facts do

That may have been his most attractive quality.

I was speaking to my sweetheart auntie the other evening and when she told me I was a “good girl,” I literally had to stop myself from crying! I’d never heard that or anything like that before... it was really wild. I’m usually pretty in control.

Ha, you are like Missy and Nathan Fillion on Big Mouth.

Kill your idols.

I do this too, except I do it in French, because I don’t have any one to practice my French with. So if you ever come across me alone, you’ll probably hear me saying Mais non connard!

I gesticulate wildly with my hands while I’m talking. Unfortunately, I haven’t learned to turn off that gesticulation while I’m having a conversation in my head. I often find myself walking down a sidewalk and moving my hands like a crazy person because I;m the only person privy to the conversation that my hands are

So do I sometimes, but I care less about that than about what my children think of themselves.

There’s a lot to laugh at about this, but also real problems. When I was pregnant with Little Valve, I fortunately found a book called Unconditional Parenting by a guy named Alfie Kohn that spoke to me and became my parenting Bible (strongly recommend for anyone who wants to avoid authoritarian parenting). Kohn points

Recently I’ve been considering art and artists the way the ancient Greeks did. They believed that artists were merely vessels, through which the muses spoke. The artist was irrelevant, and because, without their divine intervention, they were just human beings, their flaws and sin were expected and normal, but

Matthew Perry is FINE, according to Courteney Cox’s Instagram [Page Six]

Yeah, idk if “innocent until proven guilty” really applies if you married your stepdaughter.

Jeff is entitled to his opinion and I am also entitled to lower my great esteem for him.

I know Matthew Perry has a history of addiction, but... he just looks like a pretty normal 50-ish guy who DGAF about fashion? I hadn’t seen the photo until now and I was expecting him to be in a vomit-stained shirt sitting in the gutter or something. He just looks a bit on the unkempt side.

But Goldblum insisted on persevering. “Even though I feel like this cultural shift [the #MeToo movement] is very, very positive and long overdue and I support it wholeheartedly and take it very seriously, I also admire his body of work. So I would consider working with him again, until I learned something more.”

I’m not nitpicking his appearance. He’s a generally attractive human being. Maybe not as attractive as I am, but if I held that against people what kind of person would I be. The fact that he’s generally attractive and that he therefore photographs pretty well is part of the reason why this photo choice seems so odd.

Yeah, he’s not just some lucky schlub who happened upon a news story by accident. He’s kind of one of those ‘smartest guy in the room’ types, underestimate him at your own risk. I know I wouldn’t want him to start looking at my back story, and I ain’t done shit; he’d probably come up with some stuff I didn’t even know

I burned through “Catch and Kill” in a day, and I’m still incredibly irritated by the whiny non- review this site gave that book. Farrow’s concern for the victims was apparent the whole way through, and the shit they all took trying to get that story told was gut wrenching.

Shoot the messenger!

Am I wrong in saying there’s something vaguely sinister about that picture of Farrow? I mean, you all seem to use that image every time you do a piece on Farrow, so maybe you think it’s a good picture. I just think he looks like a waxwork facsimile of a human being, which makes me wonder whether there’s some kind of
