Agreed, I’ve started doing this in more and more games with carryweight systems, ever since Dragon Age/Mass Effect games showed how little these things add to the game. Cheatengine and trainers can also be very useful for this if the game doesn’t have console commands or mods or whatever.

You can use “player.modav” instead of “player.setav”. IIRC that simply adds the amount on to your existing carryweight, so doesn’t get reset every time you put on power armour.

You get auto-looter mods and the like so you coule maybe find a workaround, though I think they tend to mess with some quests/mods.
