Damn, if that's the case I actually do feel a little bit sorry for her.

When you put it like that it makes me wonder if this is an elaborate insurance scam.

I'm having trouble following you here, who's "we" in this instance? You get that I'm male right?

I'm trying to think of a way to respond to this which doesn't involve #notallmen. I agree with your last two sentences though!

Are we in disagreement? I said that the number of male victims is still less than female overall.

It's impressive but it does remind me of when me and my friend had to do a dance routine for school when we were 9. We of course did one in a martial arts style because that was cool and badass but dancing was girly.

A disproportionately high number of victims do seem to be male compared to the number of gay men (while still being less than female victims overall) so I'm guessing that's a part of it too. This is apparently because men are more likely to be perpetrators and thus have access to boys more often, not because gay

Jesus dude, that's just embarrasingly poor trolling.

Ah OK.

Which guy? Is Ann Arbor male owned, despite the name?

In some US towns sex toys are still illegal and have to be sold as "novelties" or "massage devices", this is probably something similar.

I'm not clicking on them because I don't want them in my viewing history, so report back!

Meh, I think articles like this have room for a dig at the military for their questionable hiring practices.

When you say "The guy was violent and a shithead before he joined." it's like you're opposing the argument that he wasn't a violent shithead till joined, only no-one made that argument.

She's not arguing that his training caused him to do this, she's arguing that the Marines shouldn't have trained him further since they (presumably) knew about it. If the Boston bomber's MMA gym did a background check, found out they'd been charged with attempted rape-at-knifepoint but continued to train them then you

Then why say you can't understand us? You obviously can, and we can understand you even if we disagree.

"Folks who don't support the death penalty" have made our arguments many, many times, for worse people than this. The degree of violence in his crimes or his likelyhood of rehabilitation have nothing to do with it, as I'm sure you know.

*sigh* I suppose that's what I get for not adding "generally", "in the context of the current USA" and other boilerplate to my statement.

Worth remembering that people actually get more liberal as they age, it's just that society outpaces them in its liberalness so they only appear to be becoming more conservative.
