I don't know, does an app care how many cores are in the phone if it's a symmetrical single-OS environment? Whether you're running single, dual, or quad core, a multi-threaded app will run. It'll just run a heck of a lot faster on the quad core phone.

Well, we don't need them today, as phones are doing fine with just 1 or 2 cores. However, who knows what apps or OS features we'll have in the future that could use 4 cores?

Ok, that made me lol.

Can it do anything that TripCase can't? Just by quickly looking at it, just push notification. But TripCase sends you an email, and I have push email notification. TripCase also has hotel and car rental info. I'm sure there are other travel notification apps. Would be nice to see a comparison of features!

Of course it's not, just like a cheeseburger is not as good as a filet mignon. But sometimes, you just want a greasy cheeseburger...

Yes, increased profits only by finding tax loopholes. In 2007, AT&T had 18.2 billion in income before taxes. In 2010, they also had 18.2 billion in income before taxes. The difference is that in 2007 they paid close to 6.5 billion in taxes, while in 2011 they were paid 1.2 billion in corporate welfare from the

You know what, you're right. I actually spent about a minute researching the stock price performance, and then cheapened the post with the insult at the end. I apologize.

You have the title wrong. US Cellular didn't pass on giant buckets of money. They would have had to PAY giant buckets of money to Apple for the privilege of having the iPhone, and they wouldn't have recouped their investment (in their opinion, that's why they passed on it).

Who says you have to watch CBS programs in the old network time-slot? How I met your mother and Big Bang Theory are watched whenever I want, and without having to pay Apple for some BS "subscription service" (as stated in the article).

Oh, the study is only for calls to operators. They don't take into account the broken phones taken to the "Genius" bar or to the IT desk (you know, the one that gave you your BB).

"while top of the line, more expensive Android phones from Samsung or HTC are solid, the inexpensive phones that are helping Google take so much market share..."

I'm not sure why you assume this means that the Maps model is flawed. Google doesn't provide Maps for free, it provides Maps with ads, that they charge for.

As previously stated, you'll see more *** than characters you type in, for security. If you don't remember what the default password is, go here, find which router you have, and it'll tell you what the default username/password combination is:

You're moving in with your gf, which means your PC gaming and PS3 time will be significantly reduced. You might as well downgrade to dial-up and save the money!

Sorry, but that's not my experience at all. I live in a large metropolitan area, and the only service at my house is either T-Mobile or Sprint. Both Verizon and AT&T have no coverage here.

Wait, why would only one seat eject instead of both? Is there a use case where one pilot needs to GTFO while the other should stay in the cockpit?

I think it's a matter of advertising, plain and simple. Apple has done a great job at branding (which is evident with your first comment about the need of Apple users to make sure others know they are using an Apple product).

That's some shallow depth of field on that video! What's the camera?

No, the upload always sucks.
