I liked the episode but what really confused me was here she found Russell spitting into her coffee and his punishment is…. Babysitting? Kind of a let down after ending last episode on that moment. It's almost like it didn't happen.

Anyone else feel like Steve's "this is crazy, this crazy, this is crazy" was a shout out to Chevy's bit in the first Vacation? Different circumstances but his delivery sounded a lot like Chevy's.
I love Summer School too without irony or snark. It's a perfect, light, breezy 80s comedy.
I like the picks of Dazed & Confused and American Grafitti but for me every summer I gotta watch the triple-feature of Meatballs… The Bad News Bears (original, not the horrible remake)… and Jaws. That's a perfect summer movie session in my book.
Really the only model for a network sticking to it's "guns" that I can think of is TCM. And I think it's all because of Ted Turner, which is odd considering the whole colorization stuff from the 90s. But TCM has never given up on it's initial format: older movies. No commercials. AMC ditched that long, long ago. But…
I remember when this channel launched and… we didn't get it on our cable (whatever it was in North Hollywood at the time.) It sounded so awesome. Even though MTV was still playing a good amount of videos in 1996 there definitely felt like a change was happening. And M2 just sounded so great. And of course when I…
the internet ruined it for him? He stopped doing stand-up almost 8-9 years before most of us were online. And what he's talking about (youtube) wasn't around for awhile after that.
I watched his new special the other night and liked it a lot. However I have to agree with the writer that shot of the woman leaving really did just look like someone going to the bathroom.
I don't know if that really happened but damn I sure hope it did. That's awesome.
yeah it's pretty crazy. like i said, I don't even think her name gets mentioned for consideration every year when they release their list of potential nominees.
Find it hard to believe she's not in rock and roll hall of fame. Doesn't even seem like her name ever comes up for consideration.
and sounds even better when you realize bland filmmaker Opie Cunningham is directing.
You're thinking of David Lee Cross
That was a very good season
Oh Hollywood you think you're so brilliant because… get this in this one the dude is the mermaid. Get it? It's not the girl it's the dude who's the mermaid. It's brilliant, right? Right? Anyone?
have you ever wished you could watch Broad City but without it being funny? Well, your prayers have been answered.
He's right that element was really missing from the new Ghostbusters. It helped make the original as good as it was and added a lot to the story.
Loved the short. One of creepiest things I've ever seen. All of that creepiness was completely lost in the feature. It was boring. No real scares. Even the opening scene that borrows most from the short didn't work. Oh well….
Looks like the AV Club does listen to its commenters considering someone in the comment section of the Great Job Internet post earlier suggested this news should be in newswire as opposed to some side column.
Davis was great. Don Martin will always be my favorite of all those Mad guys. That's saying a lot too cause so many were talented as hell. John Severin who worked over at Cracked was also a genius when it came to illustrating movie parodies in addition to his regular work who probably gets overlooked a bit because he…
