that's just the way Hollywood works these days. They think any brand - regardless of relevance - is better than no brand. It's why we have remake after remake after remake…. after reboot.

well you still got your adult coloring book club.
My mind's made up. Quaid '16.
Not sure why they didn't book Iliza Schlesinger. I would love to see her and Dane Cook on stage at same time trying to one up each other's "craziness" until they both spontaneously combust. That I would pay money for.
i do remember Crazy. Never really read it though. And I think there was one back then called Sick too? Am I right?
When I read the headline I thought I'm gonna go to the show this year then I scrolled through the list of other performers and realized ah… Maybe not.
wow, you really nailed it. I've been trying to figure out exactly why it left me kind of unimpressed and you summed it up pretty good. I did find Steve Higgins' dean character kind of funny but it also felt like it should've been funnier - like they didn't set it up properly.
can you send me a copy of the show you watched? Cause the one I saw felt like amateur hour at the local improv theater. Yikes.
Hollywood: Can't Stop, Won't Stop…. Should Stop.
Trophy Wife was a pretty good show. Little Bert was the shiz.
Not only is it his best comedy film it's his best film as a genuine filmmaker as well.
What's the "good thing" he's referring to?
oh I thought you meant having to be on an episode of The Nerdist was a burden….. cause that I could see.
He can be a good actor. I think early in his career he was actually pretty good, then he veered off the path somewhere.
where's his beard, eyeglasses, skinny pants and porkpie hat?
that's kind my point. I wonder why he goes back to these types of movies still? They don't seem to interest him anymore, or even challenge him in a way.
my statement/question doesn't really have anything to do with that. I've seen his most recent attempts at more kid-friendly stuff away from things like Bridge of Spies, etc and in my opinion it does seem like he used to be able to make these things in his sleep and now they never seem as good. Honestly I get where…
Is Spielberg just incapable of making these types of movies anymore? It feels like he's finally "grown up" and moved beyond them. I understand some books just aren't suited for adaptation and maybe this is one of them. But it seems lately whenever he tries to go back to his old self he just doesn't seem to have it…
Chicago never made sense for this anyway. Lucas should've been looking at West Coast all along.
I didn't think the show was great but it had potential. They should've never gone down the path of the murder investigation, or the murder at all. Dice Clay's character could've been a colorful character to have around ,to appear from time to time. They really should've focused on the music biz as opposed to all that…
