Yeah, it’s the AGGRESSIVENESS of these AI moves that has me wondering about our value as a species. I mean, okay it’s coming along, but AI still REALLY sucks at most things it tries to do. Why are these companies and orgs so hell bent on using a faulty and (currently) frankly embarassing tool?

I think the important thing that ChatGPT stans need to realize is that it doesn’t replicate intelligence,... it attempts to appear to imitate intelligence. A model like ChatGPT can’t ever be creative, because it is only a machine that tries to create a string of words that is statistically similar to a string of words…

Once again, there’s this urge to jump to AI because it can do SOMETHING, but there’s no indication that it can really do it GOOD or RIGHT or CORRECTLY.

I had much the same feeling. Not exactly a breeze, but when I tried playing again using a different class, it was just boring to do the exact same path, again.

I agree that the replayability of Diablo is very low.

Same boat. Diablo 2 is easily in my all time top ten and I was fucking dying for that remake when it was announced.

I wanted so badly to like The Thing (2011), but two things got in the way:

The character was created for this movie so there’s no existing lore on him, but he’s played by a black actor, has an afro, and is named after one of the most well-know blaxploitation movies from the ‘70s, so I’m willing to bet that the character is supposed to be black.

They already did a prequel to The Thing but a sequel seems challenging with Kurt Russell and Keith David now 40 years older

The chase was awful but don’t skimp on the stupid ending.

Fuck it , Terminator Skynet, its from the AIs point of view ,where it saves humans from themselves by killing 99.999% of them and raises the remainder to not fuck up the planet (after it bioengineers it for human/bot life after the nukes* ) turns out humans were the actual bad guys all along.
