After having grudgingly finished Season 3 and really disliking pretty much everything about it, I’ve come to the conclusion that for me, Mando ended when Gideon blew up the Razor Crest.

The suit in the picture is odd, as the way it frames Momoa almost makes him look fat.  Visual metaphor for the movie?

Oh, I’m with ya!  I loves me some Aerosmith as well.  It’s the trailer trope that I dislike.  The song is a bona fide classic, and it will be interesting to see how the story aligns with the song.  I do appreciate that kind of attention to detail in marketing as it’s quite unusual.

Yes, although I still go there frequently for news on certain things as that is somewhat useful and less stressful than watching what passes for news on other media. I can also keep up on most of my interests, and I’ve started to notice how much certain questions keep getting asked repeatedly.

The Director’s Cut of Donnie Darko is a major step down, and both Kelly’s succeeding films made it clear that his brief career was a fluke.

I would strongly recommend any fan of science fiction read “The Sentinel.” It’s a brilliant short story that contains of the greatest sentences I’ve ever read.

My issue with Nolan is not so much that his plots are convoluted and/or confusing, it’s that the characters in his later films are not well-developed. I’ve loved films where I didn’t quite grok the narrative but still had a great time because the characters were engaging and delivered emotionally affecting

Same.

Apparently, if you really want to get around a Reddit perma-ban, you’d need to buy an entirely new computer and/or have a different internet service provider as they’re able to gather enough information from where your connection/signal originates to tell if it’s you just logging in with a new email address and

I technically have a Twitter account, but I’d only made it follow Service Alerts from BART, which is my commuter train. They launched their own App soon after, so I never needed it and Twitter seemed like a gossip nightmare.

I have Discord as well, but as you said, it’s dogshit for answers. I tried several times to ask

I was pretty miffed at getting perma-banned for “inciting violence” against fascism (as if there’s any other appropriate response), but I’ll confess to enjoying no small amount of schadenfreude at how the platform is being self-destructed in the name of profit.

Fingers crossed!  Aside from the first Star Wars film, the first Superman film is one of my most cherished theatrical experiences.  I was young enough to actually believe a man could fly, and boy, would I like to feel that kind of wonder and awe again.

I feel sorta similar.

Despite the well-worn and tired usage of yet another popular song remixed to sound all doomy and gloomy, I’m hoping that this is good. I loved “Monsters” and “Godzilla” was terrific until Cranston’s character died. Would love to hear someday what Gareth’s original ideas were for “Rogue One.” I like his style, but he

Perhaps, but when was the last good superhero movie? Superman hasn’t been done properly in decades. Only Superman & Lois has presented him in a form that’s true to the character. Granted, the quality of the writing is variable, but at least they’re trying to set the needle back to altruism instead of a constipated

Same. For an animated movie, it feels like it was all done in stop-motion. That wouldn’t be a bad thing because I’ve been a fan of stop-motion since my first Ray Harryhausen film.

Sounds like Legacy is going to be the Turduckin of DC movies.

Thanks for the link! I have the regular Blu-Ray which is good enough for now as I don’t have a 4K tv. Too $$$.

I hope that Tron:Ares is good, but I found Legacy too joyless and too much of a retread of the first.  Great production design and music, but meh story.  Fingers crossed!
