You got further than I did with Strange New Worlds.

Oh, indeed! The Typewriter, Van Gogh’s Starry Night, and the NES are really cool.  As a lifelong Impressionist fan, the Starry Night in particular is gorgeous.

Given what Mangold did with “Logan”, I would be totally amped to see him do a version of the iconic Alan Moore story “The Anatomy Lesson.” I know it was done on a TV show, but I never saw it and didn’t hear much about it’s quality or consistency with the source material.

I hate how relevant this statement is for me. Granted, Tron is barely a franchise in terms of movies, but watching Disney continue to squander the potential of this world across most media platforms just crushes me.

I feel the same and after seeing your avatar, I must share with you pictures of the Lego minifig-scale Gunstar that I built a decade ago when I deep into the hobby.

I would guess that an international auction like Sotheby’s would draw the largest potential bid?  If so, how you go about setting this up?

I love this model of Corvette. It’s always been my favorite for its sleek and classy Art Deco styling.

We need an antitrust hailstorm in every sociopathic boardroom in every country around the world. The game of Monopoly was created solely to show how our system doesn’t work. Between that board game and the real world, how many people have been negatively and lastingly impacted by participating, willingly or not, in cap

The schadenfreude of watching the Reddit overlords make attempt after attempt to increase the financial value of the site and achieving the opposite every time has added more than a little tickle of joy to my days.

Given how their bodies were likely molecularized, you could just fill a small bottle of seawater at the debris site and it would be good enough.

I guess Campbell quietly disappearing from pop culture was a reflection of his ideas being seen as antiquated, but I never thought I’d see him being compared to a wingnut like Petersen. What a drag! It’s always upsetting to see people whom you used to admire show their true selves in a way that makes you a little ill.

Abso-fuckin’-lutely and wholeheartedly agree. The franchises always attempt to add just one piece to a larger unseen puzzle, but the further along they go, the more the individual pieces become much less interesting by themselves.

Meanwhile, your ego compels you to do the opposite.  I can smell the results from here.  Enjoy your VR septic simulator!  I’m sure you’ll be very busy and important!

I’m really looking forward to it and I’m glad it will be finished as I wasn’t sure given the writer’s strike. All power to the writers. Without them, Hollywood is just greed, drugs and rape.

I’d heard about r/conservative, but never visited, in the same way that I’d never want to willingly stand too close to a burning septic tank.

TBoBF was only good when Mando showed up. I agree that Andor was quite good, although I found Diego Luna’s performance to constrained to be engaging. I never got a sense of what he was feeling and thinking most of the time. Everyone else was superb and the story was very well done.

I don’t even have much hope anymore.  If it’s good, that’s good, but I’m not anticipating anything anymore.  The only Disney product I liked was Mando, and that ended when they blew up the Razor Crest.

Yep, it was a great idea, but it was well-developed upon release and has simply staggered along, wandering aimlessly, like an exhausted zombie looking for a grave.

That certainly sounds plausible, and I’ll definitely be brushing up on my Google-fu in the coming months!
