Good point there. They had nothing in the Harrington case until the Hannah Graham case hit. I still get shivers thinking about the Downtown Mall surveillance video where the murderer (also Harrington’s killer, as it turned out) doubled back to pick off the lone drunk girl. Sad.

Most of the architectural marvels in Rome were built by (caucasian)slave labor, does that somehow make them less worthy? Be careful where you draw your temporal lines of disgust, chances are some of your heroes & closely held beliefs won’t hold up to much scrutiny .

Who at UVA owns slaves today?

Generally they have adult populations that also behave like adults too.

They ‘flavor’ the fries with Beef Tallow at the packaging plant. So while the fries are cooked in 100% Vegetable Oil in the individual stores, they are flavored with meat before they get there. That Tallow would also, obviously get into the oil.

Check what they fry them in, before they are frozen and shipped.

I’m not in the states so I don’t know the legalities, but in Canada they will give you your prescription but often refuse (or charge extra) to give you your pupillary distance measurements.

The only issue I ever had was one eye doctor refused to do a pupillary distance for me for free, because they knew I was going to buy my glasses elsewhere. They wanted to charge me $50 (on top of my eye exam) to do what takes less than 30 seconds to do.

Ugh, this started happening to me within the last few years. I’d say one out of every 30 or so apples and peaches causes my mouth to feel weird.

Really sorry to hear this, but I’d also say...please keep trying rescues and shelters. The SO and I work with a rescue here in Denver and we have AMAZING dogs come through all the time and as long as someone seems cool and can provide for the dog, off they go.

You may be speaking the truth, but based on my experience your claims ring false. The rescue groups are primarily concerned with the pet’s safety and care. And the shelters are even less stringent. Again, your claims just sound very odd based on what it’s like here in the Bay Area.

Sorry, but there is ZERO reason to purchase a puppy. Google “puppy mill.” Please, please don’t encourage breeding when there are millions of homeless dogs in shelters at risk to be euthanized because someone wants a designer dog. If you’re set on a specific breed, there are breed rescues, or let your local shelter

Adopt, don’t shop. I have three shih tzus and they’re all rescues. You can get breed specific without buying.

1. Go to rescue shelter

Do not buy a dog from a supposed breeder over the internet, period. Reputable breeders simply don’t do that. They are not making a shitload of cash from dog breeding, and they don’t want their dogs going to faceless people willing to pay. I am all for reputable, ethical breeding, and simply selling dogs online to

Almost every city has a pet rescue organization or SPCA. Buying pets online... that’s so bad, when there are so many pets within your reach that need good owners, owners that care.

“It’s not a terrible idea”

Who would get a dog without meeting him first???

And now we must all post images of other animals in dog costumes.
