I can’t think of another president in modern history who is/was as glaringly awful at popularity stunts as Trump. I’m pretty sure even Nixon made more effort to cultivate his public image than Trump does.

I felt the same thing when I tried to play Wasteland 2, which was supposed to be a spiritual successor. I might have been able to get into it back in the day if I’d played it then, but the whole turn-based isometric thing just doesn’t work for me anymore.

Huh, funny. You’d think if they had a bill that 2/3rds of of them agreed on, they’d just override the President and be done with it. They’d win and have the high ground. That the filibuster has been sometimes used for bad does not make it in and of itself, bad. People always want the majority to steamroll the minority when they’re in the majority. But politics isn’t static and majorities don’t last forever. This is why mechanisms that give the minority not just a voice but a soapbox…
