This is a good point. Trump basically used Cruz’s playbook but did it bigger, louder, and dumber and somehow it worked and made the rest of the primary candidates look like a bunch of clowns.

It really grinds my gears that I got fucking grayed out but the person(s) they were supposedly trying to keep down are already promoted posters.

If they gave us either ranked choice voting or a none of the above option, I could die happy.

Yes, because who could have predicted that ignoring multiple states in the Midwest while doing a premature victory lap on the coasts would in any way come back to bite you in the ass.

While I realize that Hannity has been awful for years now, has he always been THIS awful? Like back in his earlier radio days and during Hannity and Colmes I just don’t remember him being as repugnant. Was he being more couched in his opinions back then, or was I just not really paying attention?

I think the bit you touched on about so many of these guys being transplants to Texas is interesting. They ended up in Texas because, to them anyway, Texas represents their ideals. It’s no different than some liberal progressive moving out of an Indianapolis suburb to go live in New York City or San Francisco because

A city of millions that has billions of dollars in tax revenue can’t figure out how to let its people vote efficiently? That seems more like a feature, not a bug.

That was a wild ride.

Interesting that New York City, which is supposedly a bastion of democracy and liberalism or something has such problems with voting, yet in my small conservative Midwest town, I was in and out in less than 20 minutes, no waiting at all.

I held my nose and voted for Proposal 3 in Michigan despite it forcing straight ticket voting on there, because everything else about it was good, and nobody is forcing me to vote straight ticket, so I can live with it to get all the other stuff. My biggest problem with it though is that it further entrenches our two

No offense, but I hope you told your cousin that they’re a fucking idiot that’s literally going to get people killed.

Man, these guys REALLY don’t care about saying the quiet part loud anymore, do they?

I hope for everyone’s sake she fails out of nursing school. Like, how can you decide that’s going to be your profession, and still believe that vaccines are bad?

Truly, a double-edged sword made of shit if there ever was one.

While I don’t approve of their tactics, if someone posting discouraging or misleading things is enough to get you to stay home on election day, you probably shouldn’t vote anyway. People should WANT to vote. People should NEED to vote. If you don’t feel either of these things no matter the political climate or whether

The one nice thing about daylight saving time is that at least now he starts sundowning later in the day, relatively speaking.

It will never stop being fascinating to me how if someone says they hear God talking to them, collectively we don’t bat an eye. Yet if it was anything else, space aliens, a talking dog, his twin brother he absorbed in the womb, we’d call him a loony and lock him in an asylum let him wander the streets aimlessly.

Unless Phoebe Wall Howard is secretly 65 years old, I have serious doubts that she just happened to be blasting Bob Seeger in her Chevy Malibu.

So basically all the Splinter writers got tired of being pwned by popular commentators and decided to just nuke it from orbit and start over. Sounds about right.

What a powerful dialog. Truly, the work of giants of journalism here.
