As recently as a couple years ago, my company was still running Office 2003 and 2007 in some places. Everything else has been 2010, but we’re finally going through an O365 conversion this year.

Careful, I keep pointing that out about Manchin but apparently anyone who faces the reality of his situation is an asshole. :/
Show me where a Progressive is getting elected in a West Virginia that voted almost 3-1 for Trump in just 2016 that Manchin is safe to vote against Kavanaugh without at least two Republicans also voting against. You keep saying that Manchin has no reason to vote to confirm, but he has every fucking reason if he feels…
Aside from cell phone numbers, I imagine everything else is one of those things that while not technically hidden, you’d have to do some work to find them. More work than just going to their wikipedia pages at any rate.
As someone who has to deal with both providers in a business environment, I can honestly say I would rather deal with Comcast than Charter Spectrum. As a residential customer for Comcast though, I wish I could get someone else.
I mean, I once spent far more than what the ticket would have cost because I couldn’t afford to get the points on my license (had A LOT of speeding tickets in my youth). A good lawyer is usually worth every penny.
My guess is cost. Microsoft identified that they were missing out on enough market share from businesses that couldn’t justify subscribing to O365 that it made sense to offer a standalone product. Even if it’s slightly more expensive on a per-user cost, it might make more sense for companies that only update their…
Failure to plan is planning to fail, right?
I mean, who doesn’t have a spot around town that’s popular for dumping bodies? A good spot is hard to find.
You must be new here. Splinter (and all of GMG’s) official position is that proofreading or copy editing are tools of capitalism, fascism, and conservatism used to keep progressives from spreading the gospel of socialism and shall not be used. You know, on account of the fact that that shit costs money to pay a dude…
Ok... I’m sorry but this broke my brain for a sec... what other kind of blow job is there BESIDES an oral one? Is there some other kind of secret blow job I’ve been missing out on my whole life?
Even if everyone who worked at Jalopnik was secretly jerking off to pictures of Elon Musk’s head photoshopped onto a buxom lady’s body splayed across the hood of a Tesla Roadster, would you expect them to just not report on things happening with Tesla that might reflect negatively on the company? News is news man, and…
There aren’t a lot on the west side of the state where I am either. There’s a couple on one particular road in Grand Rapids, and another just outside South Haven, but those are the only ones that immediately spring to mind, and all of those are pretty tame roundabouts.
Conceptually, I understand how roundabouts keep traffic moving better and are more efficient than a four way stop. I get it. I still don’t like them. Probably has something to do with nearly being trapped forever in one somewhere in suburban Massachusetts several years back. I will prefer a traffic light or four way…
Surveys in general are useless if you don’t understand where the data is actually coming from. National surveys are likely to be more useless when talking about specific issues and applying them to a specific area. Sampling methods are important. I’m not sure what’s hard to follow or inconsistent about that.
Without knowing where, when, how these red state surveys were conducted, their results are all but meaningless. Surveys only work if your sampling method is valid. So if they surveyed say, college campuses vs retirement homes, or calling land lines vs a Facebook poll, they’re going to get wildly different results. I…
Yes, so they need at least two Republicans to break ranks. If they don’t have that, then it doesn’t matter how the moderate Democrats vote, he gets confirmed either way. Funny, I’m pretty sure that’s exactly what I said before. The premise everyone is operating under is that none of the moderates want to vote for him,…
