Laurie's got another doctor show coming on in the U.S.

Kill the Moon was probably the dumbest episode of Dr. Who in a very long time….NewWho or Classic. Sure there were moments of fine acting and character development, but the basic plot….stupid on so many levels, script wise and continuity wise.

Not out of nowhere. It is an extension of The Doctor's question of "Am I a good man?" To Clara earlier in the season. A recurring theme all through the season and, ultimately I believe, will be a huge part of the Missy arc. (The Valeyard anyone?),

The writer, producers, most of the directors and one of its stars came over from Broadchurch to Gracepoint. Who would they sue?

Watch BBCA all the time now that my cable company finally added it. Missed Broadchurch, watching Gracepoint. So much better that the stupid new dramas -and most of the old ones - on U.S. television!

Which is why he is a star of the Royal Shakespeare Company.

It is not a wig. Tennant is known for changing his hair to fit a character. Look up Richard III

The actress makes the point of saying she had her first child at 16. Given that that character doesn't seem to me more than in her mid teens now, the mom is probably in her very early 30 's.

Yes.

I did not get to see Broadchurch as my cable provider did not have BBCAMERICA at the time. However I enjoyed Gracepoint. Not perfect but SO much better that 99 percent of the US procedurals.

Totally disagree. While hardly a fan girl, I am an actress who loves to watch Tennant ply his craft. There is a reason he is so sought after by the Royal Shakespeare Company. He is so connected to the moment; his eyes are alive with life and his body language serves as a support for whatever his character is

This is not the first time The Doctor has relied on his companion to decide between the life and death of many.
In the Fires of Pompeii he hesitates in taking 20 thousand lives to save humanity until he looks at Donna. She reaches over and guides his hands downward on the lever which released the force of 24 nuclear

His daughter has two hearts in "The Doctor's Daughter". When The Doctor realizes this he accepts her as his but not as a Time Lord.

No in The Sontaran Stratagem, 10 was not happy with Martha joining UNIT . He took many potshots at soldiers during that two-parter.
I am sure he was further put off by soldiering when it was a "good soldier " who shot his daughter in "The Doctor's Daughter". (And remember, 10 basically disowned her until she proved

Especially since he has been announced since premiere week.

Yes. I think we said the same thing. Many of the classic ' s companions had jobs, but as I was a child when I saw most of them, I can't say if they popped in and out of them.
Of course the years that the Doctor was exiled on Earth, his companions were working at their jobs by being with him. And there was one season

The emphasis on the companion not staying with him really is a logical progression from the last few episodes of #10. He did not have a regular companion, after Donna, because of the tragedies which befell Rose and Donna, he preferred to travel alone. But without a moral compass the emphasis shifted to the MADMAN in a

Eccleston decided pretty quickly that he was not coming back. Tennant said in an interview that he was hired to be the Doctor "pretty early on" after the reboot happened and had to wait to see if the reboot had been successful to see if he was employed. Apparently Eccleston has pretty narrow guidelines for how and

Except that Catherine Tate has no interest in being on the show. Her one off story was extended when folks saw her wonderful chemistry with Tennant, but they could only convince her to stay for a series. She is a comedienne with her own successful series to her credit, and really is not into sci-fi. But the great
