Of course the Republican senator from Oregon is on CNN right now talking about how sad this all is. Yeah? Blame yourself and your party for the unyielding support of the NRA and gun culture at large. Take your sorrow and shove it up your lying fucking ass. Instead, enjoy the blood on your hands, relish in it. You’ve

People on CNN are literally saying that a “gun free zone” means everyone is a sitting duck.

Can the people who believe that guns should be handed out like candy be required to go into these places after these shootings and help with body removals and cleaning? We need to extend the awful first-hand experience of them to more than just our first responders who will probably NEVER forget what they see. Then

That is sadly true. We’re a country that is more afraid of sex than violence. Look at how many violent things there are on TV. A lot of the top primetime shows deal with CSI. It becomes banal to us.

Another mass shooting:

The idiots will never, ever, consider that perhaps it has something to do with our ridiculous gun culture and celebration of violence. Nope.

My friends and I have talked about how we all have contingency plans in our heads if this were to happen in our schools or workplaces.

Why do we always keep getting lost in whether the second amendment allows for different proposed regulations?

This country celebrates violence. We laud it at every turn. Entire organizations are dedicated to making sure we are all armed, angry and shoot first, ask questions later. Is it surprising that people take that message to heart?

Let’s guess what they’ll say about the shooter:

Nothing in this world, and I mean absolutely nothing, is more important than for the 300,000,000 guns already in existence in America to reach 1 billion as soon as possible. At this rate other countries will catch up to us in 300,000 years.

More bodies for the sacrificial pire to the God of freely-available guns.

Repeal, repeal the Second Amendment. Arjrhchfjdkkdjdhjvjfjdjdjjaaaaaaarrrgghhhh I’m so angry.

I honestly support the estate tax, even though I know it’s going to lose me a lot of money down the road when my grandmother and parents pass on. I realize those people worked hard so that I would have nice things. But I didn’t. I didn’t do anything to earn that money. And it’s already been tremendously beneficial to

On the contrary! Right now, you can leave more than $5 million dollars to your heirs, totally tax-free! And the absolute top estate tax rate is 40%, so they can still get most of it. People with that much money know how to do estate planning to limit the expense just fine!

Seriously, fuck people whose entire understanding of politics begins and ends at “this is a free country, why do I have to give all my money to the gub’mint, boohoohoo.”

Because people have highly inflated ideas about how big the tax “loopholes” Trump is going to close are, much like most people massively over-estimate how much of the federal government’s spending is “pork” and how much foreign aid we provide.

I don’t understand how anyone could be stupid enough to think this plan is a good idea no matter whose idea it is.

Dear god, but that’s a horrible tax plan. Corporate tax is basically nothing. How could you possibly cut it any more than it’s already cut? How could you think that’s Clinton’s plan?
