Can the people who believe that guns should be handed out like candy be required to go into these places after these shootings and help with body removals and cleaning? That is sadly true. We’re a country that is more afraid of sex than violence. Look at how many violent things there are on TV. A lot of the top primetime shows deal with CSI. It becomes banal to us.

My friends and I have talked about how we all have contingency plans in our heads if this were to happen in our schools or workplaces.

On the contrary! Right now, you can leave more than $5 million dollars to your heirs, totally tax-free! And the absolute top estate tax rate is 40%, so they can still get most of it. People with that much money know how to do estate planning to limit the expense just fine!
