Reminds me of my fixes to the Oldsmobile.

Like a 10 foot paint job.

Here is your star for the Jalopnik Christrust Special.

A second car to carry the stuff? :)

I think you posted a picture of a BMW and meant to do a Mustang :)

$178 is $178 more than you had. This is a tough thing to do and has an end in sight. Clean up yard, get city off back, avoid dirty looks. Put money toward current or next project. Or get dinner and a movie (in the before times anyways).

Do I like it and think it is fun, sure. Would I spend nearly 14k on it, nope.

Is it large, green, and impractical? Hell yes.

I don’t hate these and the fact they use marine level electronics shows some thinking. And I was unware of the non-motorcycle option. My state used to have a 3-wheel option that was for this and Can-Am’s. Modified test to get it.

It is a sedan under the 4 doors rule. I guess it depends on your definition of Sedan. I will admit I missed the full-size on my first read :)

Neutral - All I can say I am hoping for the best for your mom.

For me it depends on the Sedan. A CTS - leather covered luggage holders. DTS - You can actually sit back there. Also watching adults trying to get in the back seat of a coupe is a challenge. I just want to push em in.

In America a roundabout in a tunnel is a license to print money for tow services and auto body shops.

The quirky brilliance of the French.

Nice. Will check that out for my use cars. Nice to see what the really are.

Nice to know what it is, as for the confusion over the plates. Rather than assume hijinks on the owners part, it could be what this thing was built on. For example Kit cars that use a frame, chassis, or whatever with a VIN would be registered as that vehicle.

For the first, outside of asking the seller “What does it have?” the best bet is either have a Vin Decoder or ask a dealership for the line do a look up. I have used the lookup to get the Window Sticker for a nominal fee.

There is something to be said for this. I have had my hands covered in engine grime while looking at parts. Or have propped up the book in dubious locations and it dropped. I have dropped the tool on the book while looking.

A running Winter car and/or hauler for 2k? That is the right price and I would dig it.

Neutral - Sanity is overrated.
