Nice price provided an independent inspection found no issues. If I were ever to consider something from this line, I would not just plunk down money and drive away. Way too many things to keep track of.

While two wheeled death machines are not my thing, this one has aged well and seems to be have not been abused. 2900 is a good point to start as the article asks.

I was searching within 200 miles of my home. The same vehicles were starting under 10k.

I considered a Flex when I looking to replace my SUV, nearly bought it but another deal floated into view.

Now playing

At about 8:50 you can see the typical owner of a Grosser.

I thought step one would be reload VAPE pen :)

Under 3k and moves under it’s own power. Good deal for a second car or commute until busted.

The Buick Wagon hurt. The XTS was not a shock, my parents had one and ditched it. The CT6 replacement is much better car.

I use channels like this frequently. I can determine - That is easy vs F-this, I now know why you pay someone to do it.

Even with the issues, 1800 seems about right. Throw some money and time at it you have nice Winter/Weekender vehicle.

I agree it is not the life style for me. I appreciate the people can do this.

I did. Most of them are off center and seem to be trying to have you not see everything in a single view. Even with good pictures, I could not justify 5k for this based on what I could see.

Interesting, just not 5k worth. If there were zero issues then maybe. Add in ripped seats, pictures not showing everything, etc and I would not be a buy at 5k in it’s current state.

There was a time that I wanted this life style. A fleet of vehicles in various running states and I would pick the one to fix.

Hopefully that one owner took care of it. I have seen one owner cars (one in the family) that has been maintined in a like new condition for over 20 years. Then I have the one owner because people run away in fear.

Proof that people never learn. I mean they have every conceivable avoidance in place and still they plow ahead. Granted Penseke is rentals so maybe people ignore that. I giggle when I think of them returning it. “It was like that when I rented it”.

Even with the odd color combination, the rest of the car doesn’t look bad. The after market head unit kinda blends in. The records appear to be in order. I would still want an person to review it given the potential cost nightmares, still for 25k, I could rock it if I had the room and money. Mostly the money.

For $600 I would buy it. However I am not sure about a cross country trip. If it is one of those try to stay under the radar style, that will be a challenge.

Given the condition and even with the AS-IS, the price isn’t bad. Would want to see it in person. This is a car you drive occasionally. If you have the means to repair it yourself or don’t mind bankrolling it, seems like good starting point.

Time to beat the dead horse again. The fundamental problem is that until we have a mass transit system that allows us to use it in a way that meets our needs, giving up a car is not an option.
