I will never understand the Kate McKinnon love. I find all of her impersonations to be so grating, and just not funny.

I didn’t miss Kate. She tends to suck up all the oxygen in her sketches, much like Wiig did toward the end of her run. Not having her around gave some of the new people a chance to show off their talents, and now I fear they’ll be relegated to standing in the background while Kate mugs for 5 minutes. 

The dress is a red herring. The hypocrisy is in spending the night playing grab-ass with millionaire celebs, thinking a photo-op dress exempts her from criticism.

People seem to forget that any spokesperson for the president— Democratic or Republican— is a paid liar and should never be taken at face value. 

A huge percentage of their supporters are evangelicals, whose religion is performative christianity. It’s what they know.

In the doc, you’re brutally honest on Sanders: “He was in Congress for years. He had one senator support him. Nobody likes him, nobody wants to work with him, he got nothing done. He was a career politician. It’s all just baloney and I feel so bad that people got sucked into it.” That assessment still hold?

Real tough blow for the Sanders campaign that one of the least popular public figures in America might not go out campaigning for him. 

Can’t think of anybody I want to hear from less than Hillary Clinton right now.

They are dripping with sarcasm and the smug little comments and digs that they throw in are hilarious in my opinion. But like you said, not for everyone.

I think I found the root of your problem

Democratic Governors meeting up in Nantucket to discuss moderation is peak DNC bullshit.

Incivility is so much worse than lynching, shooting, or simply driving over the people you disagree with. 

Its not even this bullshit. It’s the simple fact these commentators suck. The no names that commentate the Lique 1 games I watch are far better than this. And what’s with all the changes to vocabulary. “On frame” never heard that in a game. Then all the complaining about “this wouldn’t happen in a men’s game.” I mean…

Another possible thought: The Warriors knew the risk. Durant knew the risk. He wanted to play, even knowing this could result, with the understanding that he had the player option to fall back on, should the worst result.

It’s almost as if free money with no way to get out of it and no mechanism to make colleges keep costs down causes serious problems! Making college “free” doesn’t fix this. Mainly because, of course it’s not fucking free! Say what it really is: Taxpayer funded. There’s no free lunch.
