So glad to have you back :)

I’m happy that you’re back, despite your terrible take on Bulbasaur.

You’re a strong voice, and have been for as long as I can remember knowing who you were. I feel like Kotaku needs that more than anything else right now.

Welcome back!

Unironic offer of a hug to John and all the Kotaku staff. You’re all better than this corporate nightmare of an industry will allow you to be and I want you to know that you’re appreciated.

Comment that contradicts author’s post but in a passive-aggressive way to seem edgy, but really I’m just fishing for upvotes and hoping people will respond so I can call them out and spit vitriol at them.

In AoT, it is eventually revealed that the Titans all have a person curled into a fetal position located at the base of the skull or somewhere close-by. This is why only sword strikes to the back of the Titan’s neck can kill it. The mindless Titans have people who are not individually “in control” of their Titans and

Evangelion is clearly of the “giant robot” anime subgenre.

I think mostly what this suggests is that Hideaki Anno doesn’t really care about the difference between a robot or a cyborg or an artificially-grown humanoid fighting machine cloned from your dead mother’s DNA. To him, the phrase “robot anime” encompasses a larger genre of “big machine, boy pilot” stories, and in that

Did you spot the other big mistake? It appears to be made out of some sort of fabric instead of metal.

I mean these are the people who will dig up everything a black man has ever done to try and justify his killing and yet the death a terrorist in the midst of committing terrorism is somehow unjustified.

Yeah it’s sad that people died over this, any loss of life is tragic, but no there won’t be civil unrest over the death of a terrorist. Because that’s what she, and everyone else storming the building were: terrorists.

But it does seem like they’re realized exactly how much they’ve fucked up, and instead of trying to hold their ground and pretend like the Emperor’s clothes really are lovely, they’re trying to fix things in a consumer-friendly way.

This kinda seems to reinforce a feeling I had about the Sony news: That Sony demanded the game be pulled from the store in exchange for allowing refunds.

Oh yes, the famous chinese taste. I was there last year and couldn’t stomach any food, not really used to certain spices and their tendency to mix savory things with a lot of sweetness (like some pork slices with way too much honey I tried in Beijing).

Please don’t say things whithout verifing : according to the California Energy Commission, in 2018 California produced 68% of it’s needs in electricity. And amount thoose 68% only 32% is renewable energy.

Lol @ fucking FOMO culture. No one’s life will be significantly impacted if they get their XBox word jumble or PS5 in February of next year instead.

lol people actually thinking that buying a game from one of the biggest corporations in the world based on one of the biggest media franchises int he world is going to “support the developers”, like they’re going to see any of that money anyway.

I must say I appreciate this article. This is good journalism and puts a lot of the trailer into context.

Lots of people should realize that these conspiracies are borderlines to domestic terrorism in the name of “National Security”. There isn’t anything secure about shooting up people that want accountability in the police, there isn’t anything secure in kidnapping back foster children because qanon said so. To believe
