Needed to work on my extraocular muscles, thanks for that eyeroll!

There is just no use with these people. :(

I love how they even kept her ahoge!

I guess this is how trees use their twigs and berries.

I’m kinda salty Kiznaiver and Joker Game didn’t make this list, but somehow Lost Village (!) did. Though Kiznaiver’s been progressing pretty slowly, there’s no reason why Joker Game could take the place of one of the shows on this list. It has great art, devious plotlines, and interesting (though same-y) main

I can’t believe I missed this review, I had just finished it last weekend! I’m glad I was able to marathon the whole thing instead of watching weekly simulcasts one at a time like I normally do. My only criticism was Miyokichi’s relatively sparse characterization beyond her role as a plot device, which I guess is

From the data, the 5 islands that disappeared were 48,890 to 12,240 square meters in 1947.

So that’s where it goes when I clear my spam folder

You’ve never had a whole banana?? Are you Jordan Sargent

I honestly know nothing about Starfire as a character, having only watched some clips of Teen Titans many many years ago as a kid, but that’s what people are mad about, reducing interesting characters to shallow fan-service material.

I honestly know very little about teh comix myself, but I think you misunderstand what the outrage is about. It’s not about Starfire’s skin or physique, it’s about her atrophied character. It’s fine if female characters dress skimpily—in the fantasy universes they inhabit, it is their choice to make, and in the real

I was confused by the remark in the article that the anime is also explicit. I watched it last year and I have no recollection of any sex scenes or anything alluding to sexual content in the game, though I think there was one kiss that happened. In fact, the show was quite forgettable.

ugh get out of here with your straightforward facts and logic

What about Erased? Not a very action-y anime but the main character is a 22-year-old washout (although he is in the body of a child for much of the story). Minimal fanservice, interesting premise, no outrageously exaggerated character stereotypes.

This post really connects with me. As a biologist I’ve always said that we study death as much as we study life. I love looking for deer skulls in the woods, and once stumbled on a complete deer skeleton on the grounds of a nearby church. Just a few months ago I found a raccoon skull just hanging from a twig in an

As I understand it, the Ebola money now going to Zika was transferred because the Ebola epidemic is essentially over, so it was a matter of convenience allocating the leftovers to deal with our next big health bogeyman.

If NSF and NIH would only increase funding to support basic research and outreach on a lot of other neglected tropical diseases, maybe we wouldn’t have to be scrambling to deal with these as climate change makes epidemics more frequent and potential range of these disease more widespread. Just sayin’!

He’ll build the best wall, and he’ll make the Titans pay for it!
