$3,800 average for insurance in FL? Is it hurricanes, bad drivers, a bit of both?

Not often but sometimes. Going up a steep hill or high-traffic situation in 2nd towards a stop sign, you would shift from 2nd to 1st so you can get underway after the stop.

How would you normally unlock a Tesla? Key fob? Isn’t there an unlock function in an app? I would have also tried unplugging the car from the charger.

This is not bad looking, I’d prefer a wagon but this is an inoffensive and not too boring small SUV.

I am a motorcyclist too and never wanted a sport bike because A) The reputation of all the asshats doing stupid things on them and B) Fear that with a sportbike between my knees I would turn into such an asshat

You know you’re wrong when you are banning perfectly legal and normal things that aren’t even visible from outside the owner’s property. This just seems like motivation for bad neighbors to spy and tattle.

ND, it looks really well-sorted, but it’s a 1980s German car for too much money to take a chance.

Used to live on a hill, the gravel driveway sloped steeply upwards. I had a 1990 Mustang GT which was ok in the snow once you got it moving, but it had little traction in the rear. One time when it had snowed I got frustrated not being able to get the Mustang up the driveway after many floor-it-and-turn-in tries, so I

Why don’t people buy the Fiat 500e? Because it’s very small car with limited range and questionable build quality, for $34,000.

In the US automakers are so afraid of the words “wagon” and “hatchback.”

ND, only redeeming quality is it’s in nice shape for a 1985 vehicle. Everything else especially the price, ND.

I don’t like SUVs but they do have their strengths, and highway cruising is one of them. I had a Ford Explorer and did not enjoy it as a daily driver but it was great for road trips.  Good view, stable on the highway, soaks up bumps, plenty of room.  So I’d say an SUV or a large luxury sedan.

It’s weird how much it varies by locality/person/vehicle. Erie has been the cheapest for me for 15+ years. I mean like really cheap, $600 per year for a 2008 Mazdaspeed3 or 2013 Focus ST.

ND. I like it, but I think they should have left off that second-rate “TRACKER” lettering after the repaint. The interior looks surprisingly nice for a GM vehicle of that era. But its too much money for too many miles.

>4. I carry a “I’m sorry” electronic sign for unreasonably angry reactions.

Yeah GM will figure out a way to do something stupid like require a monthly subscription, or have bad quality components, or make the controls one big touchscreen.

Yeah that formula is about right, 250 mile range and $25,000. Whoever makes that sort of EV good and widely available will have the VW Beetle/Honda Civic of the 2020s.

I like capacity, I just don’t need 0-60 in 2 seconds.

Yes, a main selling point of self-driving vehicles is they drive better than humans. Why program in law-breaking? This little stunt should ban autopilot from public roads.

Yep I took his comments of being worst case scenario of range and charging.
