1st gear:  Good for the dockworkers I guess.  Their job is important but is it really worth $63 an hour?  Not in my opinion but then again I’ve never made anywhere near that.

Or under the brake pedal, keeping it from fully pressing.

3rd gear: I can only hope that microchip shortages will encourage automakers will find ways to use technology to make better cars but not actually fill the cars with so much technology.  Is there any going back to cheap and simple?

ND, I was tempted a little but to me these things looked shabby even when new.

When I was a kid the Mustang II Cobra was the coolest thing I’d seen.

Another vote for minivan. They have so much room. If they aren’t cool enough put some cool wheels on it or something.

This shouldn’t be a thing with computers. If, for example, Hyundai thinks the engine can withstand 7,000 RPM, then redline and fuel cutoff should be like 6,500 RPM.

An 8' hole on your open-to-the-public business property is a big potential liability and just hoping someone won’t walk there isn’t defense enough IMO.

NP, don’t love that body style but looks like a nice clean functional truck.

The mule idea is interesting, but I wonder how many deliveries they were really able to make between long distances and routes probably blocked by debris.

I really like the Brat.

ND, it’s nice but for $12,000 it needs to run well.

NP, this thing will probably vex me at some point, but I’m only in $2,500 and it’s an interesting vehicle.

Exactly, if you have to watch it like a hawk all the time you are just paying to be a beta tester for their software.

He is right.  Modern cars are powerful and efficient, which is great.  But they’ve lost their soul.  And they increasingly spy on you, are too expensive, and have too much tech.

Ferrari is such a weird company sometimes. No wonder Jay Leno wouldn’t buy Ferraris for a long time.

I want a Mustang, but I want a wagon too. So, Mustang. At least a hatchback like the Fox bodies.

After I saw the lady filling plastic grocery bags with fuel I will believe anything.

3rd Gear: Who? What?

Many of the small businesses and for some reason churches seem to love the digital signs now. They are ok during the day but they don’t seem to adjust for night and are WAY too bright.
