If you like that type of thing, as well as HP Lovecraft, I also recommend Clark Ashton Smith’s collection “The Dark Eidolon.” Surprisingly few adaptations have been made, but the movie Sunshine is directly ripped off of one of the stories.

It’s the best movie I’ve seen this year, and possibly the best movie I’ve seen during the pandemmies.

It’s interesting how much was made about the loading times being “too fast.” On my PS5 they’ve been nearly as long as the original on PS4 - about 1-2 minutes from boot up, and like 30 seconds to a minute for fast travel.
